If I ever remember to win the lottery (really should get 'round to it, I know ) I will -
Employ someone purely to refill the birdbath, 5 times already today!grin

What trivial thing would you splash out on ?

I did win the Postcode lottery last week. It was £10, when I pay £12!

A consultant medic on speed dial (I have health anxiety).

Can I share please Urms?

Urmstongran Mon 20-May-24 19:47:17

‘Course you can Jax. 😁

Someone to brush my hair for hours on end. It's the best bit of going to the hairdressers. I love it. Sometimes when they ask if I want more trimmed off I say yes just to extend the experience. I've got long hair by the way.

Cleaning! Then cleaning inside of windows…

Someone to give me lots of head massages and get me a soya chai latte from Starbucks whenever I want one.

loopyloo Mon 20-May-24 20:52:33

I'd have my veins done and front tooth filled.. oh and several dental implants!!

Casdon

I’d like a personal assistant to organise work on the house and supervise the tradesmen when I need them. She/he can also organise tickets, holidays, and other appointments for me please.

That's called a "wife" Casdon

Been there, done that - but I’d like a permanent holiday from organising anything now, because I’m worth it!

Definitely a personal chauffeur. After years of driving other people I’d love to be able to utter the words, ‘Bring the car round the front, Branson.’

Of course I wouldn’t mind if he was called something else! 😂

Just the forethought that I could afford every unexpected repair and replacement of anything would do for me. A cleaner would be nice but not at all essential yet.

MissAdventure Mon 20-May-24 22:34:40

I'd love a P.A to open and organise letters and appointments, and emails.
Bliss!

A plumber on speed dial who will always turn up immediately and do the work speedily but expertly.

A professional cupboard cleaner to sort out that cupboard in kitchen I’ve been meaning to sort out for two years. You know - the one where you pull out a baking tray and everything else comes clattering out, then you shove it all back in again….

henetha Mon 20-May-24 23:12:33

Someone to hunt for slugs in the garden every evening and get rid of them.
Seriously, Ive longed for a P.A for years.

I think everyone's requests and wishes are entirely reasonable, Abitbarmy's however is pure fantasy landgrin

I would opt for a suite in a local hotel with a spa. No more tidying/ cleaning/ cooking/ food shopping/gardening. If family or friends want to visit it would be easy to book them a room in the same hotel.

I already have a list of Good causes and friends who could benefit from a few thousands [eg a couple too old to travel far now but who would love to fund fares for their family in Australia to come and visit them] I would need to find a way to make these windfalls anonymously

DanniRae Tue 21-May-24 10:41:11

Oh Granny23 ..... to help people to come here from Australia to visit their family is so kind! Here are some flowers for you for being such a thoughtful person x

If he’s any good at fitting a toilet seat so it doesn’t slip and slide after a couple of weeks please send him round. You can borrow my chauffeur for the afternoon. 😂

henetha Tue 21-May-24 23:22:13

Oooh..me too. I've got a slipping sliding toilet seat and it's driving me mad...angry

Kate1949 Tue 21-May-24 23:34:42

Custom made, comfortable, fabulous shoes.

My husband is a chauffeur. When he’s off duty from driving very demanding royals he loves driving our very old A class Mercedes as it’s so easy to park in central London.
We would love to move to sunnier climes.

Reading this thread I reckon we ought to arrange a swap session…I could happily sort admin, filing, appointments etc. for Not Spaghetti, Casdon and Miss Adventure as I see it as order out of chaos!

So who fancies changing my bed every morning? I don’t mind washing and line drying it myself and have enough sets to see us through a week 😇
