If I ever remember to win the lottery (really should get 'round to it, I know ) I will -
Employ someone purely to refill the birdbath, 5 times already today!grin

What trivial thing would you splash out on ?

Oh, yes please, HousePlantQueen

Can we have dumplings, please?

Then we'll get the washer upper in while we sit in our high backed chairs observing the fish smile

If it’s a big win I would pay off my children’s mortgages plus give them some money to lock away. For myself; change my car to a lovely old Audi A1. I’m not into the modern technical gadgets that you get on new cars.
Go on a cruise; holidays to Canada; Europe then later get some regular heavenly massages!! Am hoping the lottery winning is a mega amount!!!

A cleaner who would come only when I needed them! Wouldn’t mind having them on permanent paid daily standby as, living alone, I wouldn’t need them every day! Just think.-no more vacuuming! And a chauffeur of course. And a pooper scooper operative to clean up after the two or three dogs I would have. The list goes on….!

Think of a number between 1 and 30 million.

WRONG!

A full time housekeeper and cook, but they would have to work as they did in Edwardian times, that is out of sight as I would be irritated by their presence 😁

My thoughts exactly.

Someone to clean the bathroom. It’s a job I hate.

Clean bed linen every night; windows cleaned weekly; bathroom, toilets and shower cleaned daily; oven and fridge cleaned weekly; someone to bake me a cake regularly and do all the washing up afterwards, leaving me with just the lovely smell of home baking and of course the cake itself.

A gardener and someone to paint window-frames, doors when necessary, clean gutters, put up a new garden fence, and I am sure I can think of other jobs for this handyman or woman.

I have a fancy for owning a Jaguar.

Recently though I have been trying to win the lottery to pay for a last hope operation for my little dog. The idea was to take him to see the Supervet to see if the diagnosis was correct.

I tried Hotpicks and chose to try for 4 numbers. I was one out on each number ! Pudding didn't make it in the end, but at least I tried.

Change the cover on the duvets and clean the inside of windows.

Personal chef and a gardener. I'm happy to dust, hoover, wash up etc because I can do them (for now anyway) as well as anyone else can. Upscaling food and gardening would add a level of luxury I can never managed for myself.

maddyone Thu 23-May-24 22:30:46

A cleaner.
A gardener.
A decorator on permanent standby.

Oh and someone who will decorate my bedroom, and no what I want (I don't). They must not only be skilful in hanging wallpaper, painting, making new curtains etc, but must also have interior design skills. And be a mindreader

Change my will weekly.....

Changing our bed! Of all the 'jobs' it's the one i would gladly pay someone to come in and do.

I used to love doing this at school. I'd also make the beds while my friends were in them, apparently a lot of them loved this as it made them feel snug, but this was back when we used top sheets and blankets!

Like Amalegra, a cleaner!
A gardener. And I'd have a veg garden set away from the lawned part to grow plenty of veg that they could also help themselves to!
