I do wear perfume occasionally. I was astounded at how many GNs wear it every day.

I love it! Always have and it keeps my skin nice and soft and young looking.

I haven't worn make up for years so I don't have to think about whether it would make me look better or not!😂. I do hate the feel of it and also dislike the look of foundation. I also wonder how people keep collars etc from getting foundation on them.

I do not and never have worn makeup.

Makeup on people on TV often looks ridiculous - I am thinking particularly of Ian Hislop on Have I Got News For You - it settles in his wrinkles and he looks like a puppet!

I wish I’d worn sunscreen every day when I was a young woman with flawless skin. I do wear a minimum of a 15 factor now, and in summer 30 spf. When abroad I wear 50 spf. I have sun damage on my face which requires concealer now because I didn’t wear a face cream with spf when I was younger. I also take a high dose vitamin D supplement every day, as recommended by my doctor daughter, in particular because I have spinal problems (narrowing of the cervical spine which will require surgery due to daily pain.)

I don’t have much in the way of wrinkles, but those I do have, which are small as yet, do not have my lightly applied powder foundation settling into them. Properly applied powder foundation doesn’t settle into wrinkles. It must be applied lightly with a brush though.

I don't wear makeup these days, I dislike the feeling of it on my face. I did allow makeup to be applied in the past when I appeared on TV programmes and films, however when I did some filming more recently I refuse to have it applied.

Some women put so much of it on it certainly doesn't improve their looks, and could damage their skin.

I always wear Factor 50 sunscreen. Skin cancer is on the rise. We need protection whatever the weather, whatever the season.

I wear factor 50 every day and reapply it 2 to 3 times throughout the day. The rates of skin cancer are increasing all the time. I also wear a UV 50 hat which you can buy from a company in Australia called Solbari, plus polarised large sunglasses

I never wear make-up - my view has always been that if you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig!
However, my daughter is getting married next week, so I decided I better get my act together and get something, just so I don't look quite as hideous in the wedding photos (I also absolutely detest having my photo taken!), so I ventured into our local Boots store and a lovely lady at the No7 counter took me in hand and sorted me out. I usually feel the women at make-up counters in the big stores are very intimidating, but she was around my age and was so lovely and helpful, without being pushy.

It depends hollysteers. I have to be extra carefull of the sun because of my cancer treatment. I do spend a lot of my time outside as am an avid gardener so will be getting my dose of Vitamin D

Yes, I found someone selling No7 very helpful. I asked her what foundation she used and it turned out it was the foundation I had already. It looked much better on her, though.

You can always take a vitamin D supplement but if you get skin cancer it can be fatal.

My lightly tinted moisturiser is spf, my brows tatted years ago, raspberry lippy stain, (I'm very pale, blue eyes, silver hair - need a bit of colour).

I wear make up most days but not so much now when I have a day at home.

I'm thinking of changing my foundation to something lighter. I mix it with cream as my skin has got a lot drier over the years. There are a plethora of different products so any suggestions would be great.

I'm pale and prone to skin cancers, I wear SPF and take Vit D.

Pre-cancerous skin cancer removal isn't pleasant.

I don’t wear any make up and haven’t done for many years, just factor 50 sunscreen, minimal lines, none on my forehead, lip salve factor 30.

I dont know anyone around here that does.

I only wear it if am out in hot heat for a length of time. Which is rare.

I wouldnt say there is more skin cancer here than elsewhere. But I wouldnt know really.

fwiw, this area is nearer the sea than some areas.

Wear a sunscreen or end up with skin cancer and a wrinkled up prune!

I too live near the sea, for whatever difference that makes. The heat is irrelevant. I watched a report earlier this week about the increasing incidence of skin cancer in the UK. If you don’t wear sunscreen, even on a cloudy day, you are playing Russian roulette with your health. And your looks - wrinkles and brown spots.
