Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where it is 12°C, with rain forecast. This weather is so depressing.
Pants, sounds as if you had a lovely day. DH is keen to see Conwy properly, after we passed through on our way home from Portmeirion nany moons ago.
I don't have anything planned for today, but if the rain holds off, I may pick the tiny amount of gooseberries I have. I will be lucky if I get one pot of jam from them. 🤣
Last night I got an unexpected phone call from the practice, senior partner, saying that he had completed all the paper work for me to have a chest xray at a hospital just fifteen minutes away. All I have to do is turn up at a time that suits me.
After at least eighteen months of persistant and debilitating coughing and no-one listening to me, I have had three unsolicited medical consultations in less than a week. I'm not complaining. I think they have been triggered after seeing the practice nurse at my heart and COPD review last week.
When I tried to explain how much I am struggling and how unwell I feel, the GP stopped me and said that I didn't need to explain and that he would take all the necessary steps to find out what was wrong.
I am curious as to why things have suddenly changed and why my own GP, who has not been at all proactive, is not dealing with me.
Have a good day folks and hugs for all, who need them.
What's one health habit you've started that's actually made a difference?
