Good Morning Saturday 13th July 2024

Good morning from a grey looking Essex coast. Shopping this morning, ironing later and a quiz tonight.
DD2 and family flew to Cyprus yesterday, I hope they get some sun whilst they are away.
My two youngest granddaughters, 6 and 8, both had excellent school reports. I'm very proud of them, they both love learning.
Thinking of everyone with sadness or illness.
Have the best Saturday you can and lets all pray for summer for start soon xx

Good morning Mick and all from a dull northwest coast.
Bit of a disaster at the dentist yesterday. After removing some bridging, she couldn’t remove the whole tooth, and I’m left with my abscess and root. Now awaiting an urgent appointment with a dental surgeon at the local hospital 🙄
The pain is bad and I’ve spent the night lying with my cheek on a hot water bottle and regular doses of paracetamol. Hardly know what to do with myself..

Anyhoo, thinking of all with similar troubles and worries 🌺

Good morning from yet again cloudy grey fenland. Off to a shopping outlet with DD2 today and GS. Later today it is DGD2 dancing show. She suffers terrible nerves so hoping she will be ok🤞.

Good morning from a dull but dry Oxfordshire, heating has clicked on again, so it must be chilly out.

We are out to get more bathroom ‘stuff ‘ today, some items have arrived already , some not shopped for yet.

Holly you poor thing, abscess pain is horrendous, hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon.

Ash isn’t there any chance that your Water Authority will readdress the enormous bill to your Management Company, after all in a block of flats no one person can be responsible for a leak that isn’t actually in their flat? Hopefully your Solicitor will have some luck with them.

Good morning from Severnside everyone. It’s cloudy here.

Yesterday after my weekly shop I didn’t do much. I don’t like the part where it all has to be put away even though I do organise my bags on filling to where the food has to go once home.

Today I’ve got some bagging up of rubbish to do. I’ll then go into town to pick up my prescription come home and trim up one of my front garden plants.

Ash, I may be repeating what you know but just in case

The management company is responsible for maintenance of the leasehold component of the block. You need to check your title deeds as the leakage may well be in the portion that is freehold ie you own that portion and therefore it is not within management co remit

Also become very familiar with the terminology used in the transfer documents ie lessee, lessor etc. It will help you when in contact with your solicitor

You may need a duplicate of all the paperwork from transfer and you may need to download documents from land registry to verify your property boundary

I've done my "time" with covid but it's left me feeling very wabbit, so I won't be going to meet up with DD and girls today sadly. But discretion is the better part of valour and all that ......
So I shall make a start on the mountain of tasks put off last week instead - and have a lovely time watching Wimbledon of course.

Thanks karma but I can’t take Ibuprofen with high blood pressure medication. A pity, as I know it works well with paracetamol.
