It's that time of year again - and the launch of our Best reads for Christmas. Over £500 of fantastic books, fiction and non-fiction, great gift ideas for family and friends (and yourself - goes without saying)

Aaaaand - one very lucky person can win all the books featured on the page. To enter simply tell us what's on your Christmas wish list (it can be absolutely anything)

We will be picking a winner at random on 14 December - more details on the page

Obviously world peace would be my first choice.
On my personal Christmas list this year is an extension table for my sewing machine so I can make my patchwork quilts more easily

As we've both got Big Birthdays coming up next year we are just going to get each other some new slippers and save the money for a lovely holiday next year.

As my daughter died from B Cancer in February, I am wishing that her children and myself find a way of having a peaceful and happy First Christmas without her.
If I can have a second wish I really would like a long fleecy dressing gown to keep me warm and snug on the nights I cant sleep.

My main Christmas wish would be for my daughter to move nearer home (she currently lives the other side of the world) .

I wish that this year we could spend Christmas with our DS, Dil and GS. They live in Australia and we miss our lovely family get togethers.

A house, just a small one, in Wales where my grandchildren and the rest of the family can visit wherever they like without a four hour plane journey.

Books are always on my wishlist. This year I have set myself a Reading challenge - to read 52 books this year. I have sponsors and give the read books for a small donation. I am raising the money for a small local charity. Happy Christmas xxx

I already have my Christmas present wish - a pair of fleecy slippers with a proper sole, because the kitchen floor is always cold!! So a box of books with my name on would be a fantastic extra treat. Good luck to everyone.flowers

A climbing rose. My DML is buying it for me and I can't wait to see the result next summer. We are so pleased to have such a wonderful family joining our family.
