Yes. I watched that blog yesterday. I’ve never been sure about K2 . I started taking it last year but when I read that it affected the blood I stopped, but have started taking it again recently because I believe there is a difference between K2 and K1. I’ve also taken zinc for the past 20 months because I remember Strepsils having zinc in them to help with throat infections. DD has taken 4,000iu of D3 for a long time and when I said I thought it was a bit high she said she’d discussed it with various friends who were doctors and nurses. They’d also been taking it themselves. The amount of D3 recommended has just been to prevent rickets. I guess we’ll just have to see how those of us on D3 get on compared to those that don’t. I’d like to have a blood test to see what my D3 level us but, as was mentioned in the blog, the test is expensive and not widely done. To be honest, I don’t care if someone has a Dr in front of their name or not it all depends on if what they say makes sense. If I remember right, DrFauci said last year that he was taking a very high dose of VitD, an amount that surprised even DrCampbell. I also remember seeing a report that hydroxychloroquine had to be taken with zinc to be effective, but can’t remember who mentioned it. I’m certainly not going to stop taking D3. I think there’s a difference between blood thinners and anti coagulants? I bought some K2 for DH but he hasn’t taken it because he’s on medication for an infected vein. My SIL is currently recovering from covid as has my grandson and, although the former didn’t feel great he is, thankfully on the mend. They have both been taking D3 for a long time.
