Lazi I ordered that pasta online from Holland &Barrett.
My tiger nuts arrived this afternoon. I soaked them for a couple of hours and chewed a few (6 or 7) this evening while watching TV. I know they have carbs in them, but also a valuable source of fibre, vitamins and minerals and just a handful satisfied.
Tizliz to thicken soup I just use less water. But do remember this is a low carb régime, not a no carb one, so a few lentils etc are not out of the question. I suppose it depends how strict you are trying to be.
I avoid sugar like the plague, but as I'm going alcohol free at the moment I allow myself some ginger squash. Potatoes I eat almost never, except a few new ones in season, rice not at all, pasta (see above), bread hardly ever. But I do eat tomatoes, a few carrots and peas and beans all of which have carbs.
Lunch was celery sticks with tarmarsalata, and dinner was chilli con carné, with salad followed by Greek style natural yoghurts and the aforementioned tiger nuts.
