The Queen paid the woman twelve million pound’s apparently. It was not tax payers money. That doesn’t mean that I approve of the Queen’s actions but what I do approve of is the truth so perhaps it might be an idea to get the facts straight before reporting untruths.

Incidentally everything portrayed in The Crown is NOT true. It is based on truth with a large dollop of poetic license, in other words untruth. It has been reported that the American audience don’t understand this and think it is purely fact. Obviously I don’t know what the American audience think or don’t think but possibly the incident about Charles pulling a sink off the wall may well be speculation perhaps engendered by the series. I’ve never seen the series as I would prefer it to be a factual representation if I were to watch it. I don’t want to watch fiction pretending to be fact.

Yes Callistemon that would appear to true.
Personally I enjoy films and programmes about true events and I also enjoy purely fictional films, but I dislike any attempts to mix up the two as they are different genres.

However we’ve had Netflix at some of our rentals here in New Zealand but when the Harry and Meghan series was advertised I’m afraid I gave it a wide berth. I suspect it would be like watching paint dry. Perhaps watching paint dry would be more interesting even.

I think if I were currently in sunny New Zealand maddyone I wouldn't be going anywhere near M & H's Netflix series. Back here on cold wintery evenings it passed the time though!!

This IS a good example of how the press manipulates people.

If a person believes everything that is written about Meghan, but refuses to believe everything written about Charles (or anyone else), that person is hypocritical.

The only things I believe about Meghan is what has come out of her own mouth on TV. In interviews. And believe me, there's a lot out there.

What we do know is that Buckingham Palace instigated an inquiry into the allegations made by staff with regard to Meghan. Why would they do that? Was there an inquiry as to whether Charles pulled a sink off the wall? No, thought not!
The Palace plays its cards close and will not disclose the results of the inquiry, although if Meghan was shown to be innocent it justifies the question, why not publish the conclusions?
