Theoddora having seen your post on another thread about the recent death of your husband, so sorry for your loss
surely one of life's most traumatic events and as such that could have well exacerbated this condition in your case, quite possibly as other have pointed out anxiety could be a contributing factor.
I often think, if only some things we experience had a name then we wouldn't have to explain what I'm sure many of us feel are vague symptoms, variously described here as "buzzing", "shuddering", "vibrations" "fizzing" "internal engine running" "an inner bee" but the fact that quite a few have come to this forum to outline these weird and unpleasant sensations, certainly makes me feel "well not just me then"
I do feel mine present when I'm tired which is often a self perpetuating cycle, since the menopause, poor sleep quality, over tired and never able to attain that elusive good night's sleep. It's a lucky woman imo who passes through the menopause unaffected.
