Online Supermarket Shopping

I've only tried this once or twice in the past. I have the time to do it myself so it's of no benefit but I've been prompted out of curiosity to try a comparison website to see if I can save a few pounds by shopping around. Having typed in my shopping list it seems that my supermarket of choice comes out cheapest. In addition, the comparison site offered a nice discount for my first delivery so I decided to take advantage this time and hit the buttons. But when I got to the checkout of the actual supermarket my final bill (with delivery added and discount voucher deducted) was nearly £20 more! Apparently this could be due to a number of factors... needless to say I hit the cancel button and will be going myself as usual. Is it just me?

Tegan, I`ve just answered you on aforementioned thread!

And you'd been on the thread just before and I hadn't noticed blush. Glad that you're [sort of] ok. The S.O. is having to visit his mum who's in hospital at the moment, and he says he hasn't been able to get anything done for weeks due to all the travelling.

Just to let you know, it's all fixed now... yippee! My son came here, changed the light bulb, did something-or-other in the fuse box, and now all is well.
Today I am tackling the freezer.
Thanks folks.

before I went on holiday I read in a magazine that time could be saved by doing an online shop to be delivered on your return from holiday. I did forget before I went but whilst I was away I sat in the sun and ordered my shopping. We arrived home late at night and the shopping was delivered the following morning. So nice not to have to rush out to the supermarket! smile

That is a brilliant idea, seasider. I just might do that.
henetha, did you ask your DS to explain the fuse box to you?
