Bathroom floor, please help!

Hello all, and good wishes.

The bathroom revamp has been done, and we are really pleased with it!

The pearlescent ice blue tiles have gone, replaced by Travertine (sort of sandy, camel coloured panels) almost black wood effect vanity unit and bath panel.

The ceiling and the parts of the walls that are not panelled are plain white.

We need to choose the flooring.

So far we have narrowed it down to either a honey coloured narrow plank wood effect, or black and white tile effect.

Would value your opinions!

(Will try to upload photos and screen shots!)

Given your colour scheme, I’d lean towards the honey-coloured narrow plank wood effect flooring. With travertine-style walls, sandy/camel tones, and an almost black vanity, a warm wood effect will soften the space, add balance, and stop the room feeling too dark or cold. It also works well with white ceilings and keeps the bathroom feeling calm and spa-like.

A black and white tile effect can look striking, but with travertine panels and a dark vanity already in place, it may feel a bit busy or high-contrast in the long run.

For bathrooms, wood effect porcelain tiles are practical as well as stylish — water-resistant, easy to clean, and long-lasting. Brands and suppliers like Royale Stones UK offer realistic narrow plank options in warm honey tones that pair beautifully with travertine finishes.
