The 4 weekly is what most people simply refer to as monthly.
However, with 52 weeks in the year, there are 13 payments, which is why we end up getting 2 payments in one month once a year.
Correct Georgesgran!
And those who are paid every two weeks will have two months in a year (roughly 6 months apart) when they receive 3 payments in a calendar month!
I first spotted it when my husband received his pension 10 years ago and now I can plot those months on my diary for the next 12 months.
He was paid on Friday 2 August, 16 August and again on 30 August- that won’t happen again until January when payday for him will be 3rd, 17th and 31st - so handy after Christmas!
