Lunch in Edinburgh [Edited by GNHQ at OP's request]

We could ask GHIQ if we can alter the name of the thread or I could post a new thread, directing everyone to the "Lunch" thread and put in the link..
I'm sure there are a few other posters in the Edinburgh area. I'm happy to do it Elizabeth

Yes, HQ can edit thread titles. I know this because once ai spelt a person's name wrong in a thread title. I asked HQ to correct it and they did.

I have contacted GN HQ to ask if Edinburgh can be added to the title.

No lie Marydoll. I was never so cold as when I lived through my first winter in Edinburgh. That bloody wind! I couldn’t even get a poke of chips to heat me up without someone tryimg to put ‘sauce’ on it

The Old Waverley Cranston’s restaurant is now booked for Friday 28th September at 1.45. I’ll update numbers as and when however hopefully I’ll have all confirmed by the 21st. Please pretty please. Sorry they couldn’t take us earlier.

There's a very nice bar/lounge area at the Old Waverley. Of course it might be quite busy if they have something big on in the dining room. I'm willing to risk turning up a bit earlier.
Otherwise, lots of time for shopping. I remember shopping... ( it's been a while!)

I don't live full time in Edinburgh as I'm needed quite a lot for GPD's elsewhere, but would love to join as and when if that's ok?

Keep watching the forums for planned meetups, Grandelinquent or even post a new thread yourself with dates when you know you will be in Edinburgh, and ask if anyone else would like to meet up. Include Edinburgh in the title, then it will get noticed.
