I have done hours of research and if we vote stay in then Junker ect will clamp down immediately and we will have the euro which is a failing currency already plus we will have no protection against flooding the country with immigrants.

Hasn't that one been on before?

Ana Wed 08-Jun-16 20:28:07

So what?

Gracesgran Wed 08-Jun-16 20:30:17

A bit late for me thatbags as I have voted smile. I don't think the score matters so much as how you react to it. I know the last one I did I immediately thought "I feel comfortable with that". Perhaps if someone is surprised how it comes out they need to do a bit more research(?).

bags, I'm not on facebook so haven't got my result

21. European cooperation is important to protect the interests of our children and grandchildren.
I don't even know what they meant by that one

96% IN, but I knew that already.

Sarah Wollaston has just switched sides, from Brexit to remain.

Suz12 Wed 08-Jun-16 23:07:24

I haven't made up my mind about whether to leave or stay as I am trying to shift through all the information thrown at the public by both the leave and remain camps. Instead of listening to what they are saying I am trying to get more facts about how the EU works. The questions I want answered are firstly if all our Meps had worked towards supporting and representing GB in debates and votes instead of abstaining or voting against every thing put forward, would things have been different? When N Farage was on the Fisheries Committee why did he only attend 1 out of 42 meetings and use his vote to help the uk fisherman. The leave campaign have said that they will Spend the £250 million sent to the Eu on the nhs and fuel and other things. At the moment we are in in austerity and money to councils and government departments have been cut. Surely the £250 million we save sending to the EU will be used to reduce our debt? This is not being addressed. Equally the remain camp are not giving the positives of remaking in the Eu

durhamjen Wed 08-Jun-16 23:16:28

That's why Sarah Wollaston has switched sides, because she knows Brexit are telling lies. They have spent the money they say we will save three times over.

Tried to find out about what difference it would have made if they had all voted, and found this instead.

Interesting that Sarah Wollaston has swapped sides. She's one of the most grounded MPs of any party and generally knows what she's talking abut.

Ooops!

Lord Bamford, chairman of JCB (one of Britain's biggest exporters), has said that the EU 'bloc' is of "diminishing economic importance".

JessM Thu 09-Jun-16 07:06:35

Still the biggest single market in the world though...

Media coverage of EU referendum. Report from Loughborough Uni Centre for Research in Communication & Culture. Because it's interesting if you like this sort of thing.

And what about Turkey and the Balkan States who wish to join the EU?

thatbags Thu 09-Jun-16 07:25:04

There is mention on Twitter of how absent Corbyn has been.

I also saw a tweet where an definite Outie posted a pic of Corbyn and said: "I'm voting the same way he's voting" wink

thatbags Thu 09-Jun-16 07:26:17

I found Bamford's use of the term 'bloc' interesting. It brings forth memories of references to the Soviet bloc.

Anya Thu 09-Jun-16 07:32:20

hmm Very strange that Sarah Wolleston joined the 'leave' campaign in the first place as she generally voted in favour of more European integration in the past.

Anya Thu 09-Jun-16 07:33:16

I'm not ignoring your posts bags - just picking up on other points made.

Anya Thu 09-Jun-16 07:35:47

Corbyn was well known as a Eurosceptic bags and it is interesting him not showing up in the top 10 of your stat table.

thatbags Thu 09-Jun-16 07:42:37

No prob, anya. I often listen to (as in read) what Sarah Wollaston has to say. Like Ruth Davidson, she's worth listening to.
