This vid says a lot. Especially why the EU finds our government's attitude so incomprehensible

Sterling is falling again.

Bambam Thu 05-Oct-17 20:16:00

As you seem to be a bit upset about the word genocide, I can explain.
Genocide does not necessarily mean the mass killing of a nation. It can signify a coordinated plan aimed at the destruction of the foundations of a national group. The disintegration of the political and social institutions, of culture, language, national feelings, religion, the destruction of personal security, liberty, health and dignity of individuals belonging to such groups.

Bambam Thu 05-Oct-17 20:18:11

Whitewave, I have never heard of White Revival.

whitewave Thu 05-Oct-17 20:18:48

Have you heard of White Survival bam?

whitewave Thu 05-Oct-17 20:20:10

X posts. Gosh how interesting only you seem to be quoting their literature word for word. You might like to look them up as you seem to have a lot you agree with.

durhamjen Thu 05-Oct-17 20:20:37

Was that the deal to do with mainly food, whitewave?

Bambam Thu 05-Oct-17 20:22:01

No I have not heard of White Survival.

durhamjen Thu 05-Oct-17 20:22:59

whitewave Thu 05-Oct-17 20:23:38

Yes agriculture. Apparently there are a number of countries of which the US is one objecting to the plans post Brexit. WTO rules allow for this which means we won’t be able to complete a deal if other WTO members object. This applies tonabsolutely everything we try to do. Wo betide us if Argentina and Spain start to flex their muscles.

PamelaJ1 Thu 05-Oct-17 20:23:48

The question asked why are we leaving the EU?
The answer is because more voters voted out than voted in.
It will happen. We need the best deal possible and have no choice but to let the politicians get on with it.
The remainers need to understand that they have to accept it.
That's it- simples!

whitewave Thu 05-Oct-17 20:24:29

bam do look them up I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

durhamjen Thu 05-Oct-17 20:26:00

Argentina is involved, whitewave.

Bambam Thu 05-Oct-17 20:26:34

What would be wrong with White Survival? Or Black Survival ?
Or Brown Survival? Don't get your point Whitewave.
Why? Do you not agree with White survival?

Bambam Thu 05-Oct-17 20:28:09

Are you being racist towards white people, do you think?

whitewave Thu 05-Oct-17 20:28:20

I’ll try this post to pam again as first didn’t arrive.

It isn’t a question of not accepting the result.

Perhaps pam you can suggest a way around the WTO conundrum?

durhamjen Thu 05-Oct-17 20:29:25

"The countries were particularly aggrieved that they had not been consulted and stressed that no calculation of Britain’s tariff-rate quotas could be agreed at the WTO “without our agreement.”

Indeed, the countries suggested Britain and the EU might need to rework the whole system of import tariffs and could not just shuffle quotas between each other, without disturbing “the delicate balance of concessions and entitlements that is fundamental to the global trade architecture today.” "

That's what happens when the UK decides it's going to be more important than the other parties to an agreement.
David Davis hopefully will take note in his EU negotiations.

whitewave Thu 05-Oct-17 20:31:45

bam I think you are getting a bit ahead of yourself.

I was struck by how your posts were the same almost word for word by the publication. I thought you might like to look for yourself, and as you have never heard of it be absolutely astounded at the similarity to your posts that is all.

durhamjen Thu 05-Oct-17 20:32:40

UK and EU cannot decide between them what happens in trade deals. They have to consult and reach an agreement with WTO.
There are more members of WTO than EU.

Good luck with that, Fox.

whitewave Thu 05-Oct-17 20:35:11

I rather thought that us remoaners have been saying this since before the referendum. Oh I remember it was termed project fear I think.

Bambam Thu 05-Oct-17 20:36:10

Durhamjen and Whitewave seem to be thrilled at any difficulties we may have with leaving the Eu.
But we will succeed! Maybe then you will stop gloating!

durhamjen Thu 05-Oct-17 20:36:36

Pamela, I think the question was a desperate plea for us not to.
Have you watched the video?

durhamjen Thu 05-Oct-17 20:40:23

So what do you suggest, Bambam, as May and cohort have no idea what to do.
They are upsetting every country in the EU and around the world.
Not only will we have no agreement with the EU, but no WTO agreement either.

Not gloating; I am actually quite scared.

In fact, if my family move to Denmark, I'll probably go with them. On the other hand, the speed with which the negotiations are going, I'll probably be dead by the time we leave the EU properly.

durhamjen Thu 05-Oct-17 20:40:49

By the way, Bambam, what do you think genocide means?

Bambam Thu 05-Oct-17 20:42:10

As I said before! Do you not agree with White Survival, or Black Survival of Brown Survival.
Also, when did I say that I was not quoting from a publication and why would quoting be wrong.
And I still have never heard of White Revival so perhaps they are using quotes from some other publications.
