We're obviously never going to, so bearing that in mind, the next best thing is Nigel, and he will get my vote!

How does anybody get past this please?

Grandad, when LP members voted 3 years ago, and when the accepted the LP manifesto 2 years ago- the UK was a very different place.

Since then- it has been proven that the vote was NOT democratic- based on massive lies, proven fraud, foreign money and interference, and illegal secret targeting of specific groups. So NO, now we know- the very close Ref. majority cannot be accepted- especially as we also know now about the Irish border disaster and the huge damage to the economy, the NHS, and so much more. There is NO option called 'cake and eat it, with unicorns on top' and you know full well that it is the poorest in society who will pay the heaviest price- job losses first and massive depletion of staffing for the NHS, etc.

I think you mentioned Hitler and made a joke regarding Farrage? If you didn’t I apologise if you did then shame on you.

Whose been expelled then??? Do tell us!

I await and answer to my question at 17.23

Voting for article 50 when your only aim was to bring it down was the biggest deceit of all. I voted leave because I think this will be much better for the U.K, especially bearing in mind this EU ambition for federalism . A trading block is one thing but greater political alignment is quite another! I certainly wasn't swayed by any political utterances on either side! As if?!!!

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 17:52:42

Yes well lots of people report racism to the police don’t they.

Maybe Jezza should refer himself

jura2, the present Labour part/movement policy on Brexit was agreed by the Twelve Thousand Delegates to the Labour movement conference last September. The National Executive along with Jeremy Corbin as leader of the Parliamentary Labour Party has remained constant in the view that the Conference policy is the best available for Britain and in that, time has proven it to be the only, "constant" in the whole Brexit debate.

Should the broader Labour movement in the Country feel that a change of policy is required, then (as always) a one-day recall conference can be convened, but no such request has so far been forthcoming.

Apologies for repeating the above once again jura2, but the Annual Delegate Conference is the primary policy-making body in the Labour movement, and that is a situation I and many others agree with.

When twelve thousand people voluntarily take time out of their annual holiday entitlement to attend a week-long conference, then that dedication has to be respected and their democratic decisions not changed on the whim of a few who feel they are bigger than the party and its constitution.

Mycatisahacker Quote [Yes well lots of people report racism to the police don’t they. Maybe Jezza should refer himself] End Quote

Well, if that be the case, perhaps a large and growing number in the Tory party should report themselves to the police for rampant crass Islamophobia including Boris (The Buffoon) Johnson, who is the darling of the dwindling ageing Tory membership in the Country.

jura2 Wed 01-May-19 18:17:09

Totlly agree with your last paragraph Grandad.

As for your repeat re Conference decisions- I will have to repeat, again and again my last post. Things have massively changed since then- and we know now for sure the Ref was NOT democratic, in any way, shape or form.

jura2 Wed 01-May-19 18:35:49

I personally did so a while back- but ..

Bringing in Islamophobia into a thread ‘Jeremy Corbyn’, an attempt to distract from the fact there is anti semetism in the Labour Party.

Jews for Labour voted unanimously that the Labour Party was institutionally anti semetic and Corbyn was unfit to be leader

maryeliza54 Wed 01-May-19 19:03:00

oh the irony ab oh the irony

Grandad1943 Wed 01-May-19 19:09:35

Yes maryeliza54, the Closet Tories on the forum do not like it when simular accusations fly back their way. grin

Lily65 Wed 01-May-19 19:11:54

They ain't in no closet.

maryeliza54 Wed 01-May-19 19:16:53

I haven’t read GW’s letter yet but I expect he’s blaming JC

maryeliza54 Wed 01-May-19 19:19:00

The accusation of hijacking threads tends to be used when the accuser doesn’t like the point being introduced. However, they themselves .........

Whitewavemark2 Wed 01-May-19 19:20:38

Interestingly Sayeeda Warsi has issued a huge amount and mounting evidence of institutional islamaphobia in the Tory party. Some of it is quite appalling and makes extremely uncomfortable reading.

However she recently tweeted that the Tory party has asked her to lay off, and in return they would look into the issue.

This was 2 months ago. She tweeted that absolutely nothing has been done.

Almost certainly done to shut her up before the elections.

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 21:16:46

Whataboutary proceeds again

Anniebach Wed 01-May-19 21:27:40

Baroness Warsi

Let’s not forget

Margaret Hodge

Ruth Smeeth

Luciana Berger

Tom Watson

Louise Ellman

And more

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 21:33:36

There’s none so deaf that don’t want to hear is there Anniebach

And ok we are racist but the Tories are too!

We all bloody well know there are racist in both/all parties but with labour it’s institutional as the leader is a grade A idiot.

Grandad1943 Wed 01-May-19 21:35:47

Yes, what about Islamophobia in the Tory party Mycatisahacker. Is it not the case that Conservative party members have most definitely posted highly islamophobic text on social media and then had their membership of the party revoked, only to be allowed to rejoin again a few days or weeks later.

WHAT A SCANDAL and the Tory party executive will not even allow an internal enquiry into the matter.

Totally Disgusting.

Anniebach Wed 01-May-19 21:58:31

A female Labour MP had to have police protection to attend
Last years party conference . Totally disgusting and frightening

Urmstongran Wed 01-May-19 22:24:03

Thank you jura for clarification. I had genuinely forgotten your situation.

Glad to hear your parents are doing okay - enough for them not to need you anyway.

?

So welcome back soon to Blighty eh? Mind you, with this political mess you might soon be wishing you were back in Toblerone land! It’s not boring, that’s for sure.

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 22:27:23

Grandad1943

All racist is disgusting maybe tell your dear leader that
