Unfortunately, the policy of Brexit Bullying seems to be spilling over out of parliament and the media to groups such as this, so I've been considering doing the same.

The words used by Farage and Johnson are chosen carefully.

They know exactly the potential effect of their language.

Now the question is, are the electorate going to allow themselves to follow sheep like, or are they going to put their thinking caps on.

That well-known leftie , Amber Rudd, seems to think that violence is being incited too:

"The sort of language I'm afraid we've seen more and more of coming out from Number 10 does incite violence.
"It's the sort of language people think legitimises a more aggressive approach and sometimes violence."

As she was once Home Secretary, I would have thought she knows a little bit about violence.

Farage threatens to use a knife, Johnson is considering misusing legislation, again. A soldier was arrested after using foul and abusive language, rape and death threats to Angela Raynor. I had a quick look at a pro Brexit twitter feed but left and won’t return because of the levels of abuse, threats of civil wAr etc. What’s the matter with these people?
We had a studied referendum. Referendum is advisory not legally binding.
Since then we’ve muddled along, none of the major parties emerge as great potential governments. We are in a mess of our own making. We need to find the least worse way forward. We certainly need our elected representatives to stop using inflammatory language
Mr Johnson needs to reign his ego in, sack his psycho advisor and work cooperatively

Words matter right? ‘This forum’.. as in any leave poster could be fomenting civil unrest.
If the OP really wanted to leave the forum, she would go quietly and not threaten to flounce off.
No, this is just another thread for remainers to do their level best to prod any leaver they can by the suggestion that they will soon be running riot in the streets.
I don’t know what awful SM sites the OP frequents, but I only use this one and it’s full of posters like me ( many of whom I have met) older women, who love their families and are calm rational people with a sense of humour.We all voted different ways in the referendum but we don’t let that divide us.
I suggest that threads like this are just spreading, not containing division, and are started for that purpose.

There may be division but, thus far we have had marches, rallies etc for 3 years and the only violence I'm aware of has been instigated by pro brexit groups. So, any talk of civil unrest is surely going to come from them. I do think some people should look at the vile language used in some of the pro brexit Facebook pages. I've never in my life been scared to show my political colours in public but I'm tempted to wear my pro EU t shirt for a week just to see how many nasty comments I get, but I'm too afraid to.

I don't understand how anybody can be so nihilistic that they want to join a discussion forum with the sole purpose of sneering and trying to intimidate other posters, without making any constructive comments.

I guess it takes all sorts!

Cummings has stated publicly that public anger was "not surprising" because of Westminster's "refusal to implement brexit"

In other words he is telling MPs to follow his instructions if they want the death threats to stop.

Johnson and Cummings are letting the genie of violent language and sod you politics out of the bottle.

I hope that it can be put back in once they’ve been got rid of.

Conveniently forgetting that there is a lot of public anger over the imposition of the probably most appallingly dishonourable PM the UK has ever had and the threat of catastrophic no deal Brexit.

Boris is pretty determined to ‘get Brexit done’. It’s crunch time. We were always going to get to this point.

And I don’t know of any dictator who has begged for the public vote as in a general election. Speaks volumes.

Those who don’t want him or his policies won’t vote for him. Can’t say fairer than that.
