POGS if you are not able to understand that ANTIFA is not an organisation but a linked series of people and organisations and that amongst those are some individuals who choose to use violence it is no use discussing anything with you. Perhaps you could look at it another way, do you believe that there is an organised white suprematist movement which is deliberately orchestrating and organising against non-white people? And do you believe it is wong to demonstrate against those ideas?
You do realise that the ANTIFA movement is based on the belief that had enough people demonstrated against the Nazis in the 1930s Hitler would never have come to power and WW2 would not have happened.
Would you rather allow fascism to prosper?
There are always any number of groups in a country who has some members who are willing to commit violent acts in pursuit of their cause.
In the USA these include, white supremacists, white separatists, American freedom party, American Nazi party amongst many others on the far right.
You then have animal rights activists, environmental rights, black separatists, etc on the left, and Antifa members who fight against the fascistic ideology purported by the far right in USA, some of which are listed above.
With populism operating in the USA and causing division as populists do, there will be a volatile atmosphere caused by these division, with violence being much more likely.
It is inevitable.
