I have no idea if it's true and, frankly, I don't care, but Gove was rumoured to be having an affair with Dominic Cummings in 2016. You can Google an article in the Mail and Mary Wakefield's article about it in the Spectator. The only interesting thing about the smear was that the person who "leaked" it was Gavin Williamson, who was David Cameron's Chief Whip at the time. It's been hinted more than once that the reason the hapless Williamson hangs on to his job is that he knows secrets which some people wouldn't like to be revealed. It would certainly make a good plotline somewhere (not sure about "Corrie").

Remember the picture Williamson put out of himself sitting at his desk with the whip and that book on it? I always assumed it was stuff he had on Johnson but maybe he’s got stuff on all of them….

Liam Fox did come to mind, WWM2. I remember that now.

I feel rather nauseous about the thought of Gove + Cummings. ?. Still, it would save spoiling another couple.

She (Vine) wrote a piece for the Independent criticising Jack Monroe (food blogger and campaigner) for having children whilst being unsure of her sexuality.
She also has plenty to say about Harry and Meghan - I presume most of it is conjecture, unless she really knows them that well.
... but wants privacy now the announcement of her divorce is official.

In other words, she can dig deep into other people's lives - and write copiously about them, but doesn't think it right that she might now come under the same scrutiny.

She makes money by writing scathing articles about people. What goes around, comes around.

I'm happy to give her the privacy she wants and avoid the speculation she probably doesn't want. If only she would give other people's intimate relationships the same privilege.

They all make me feel nauseous. None of them seem to have any taste at all ??. Still they are all as revolting as each other so it’s a case of like attracting like I suppose.

I hope people choose to be kinder about her kids than she did about Jack Monroe’s little lad, who she claimed was the reason both he and his mum struggled with food poverty for a long time. It was a singularly wicked thing for one mother to write about another’s little child.

Why wasn't there an article somewhere claiming it was true? As far as I can tell, there wasn't. Oh what a tangled web we weave ...

After the disclosure of the affair between John Major and Edwina Curry, any news of seedy extra marital affairs involving politicians no longer shocks me.
