Before anyone starts….absolutely no disrespect to HM. It’s just funny and true.
(Am actually impressed with her cancelling lunch thing and showing the way to her government)

Whitewavemark2 Mon 20-Dec-21 08:48:35

I think it simply shows her as the real leader.

The language is nothing she won’t have heard from her daughter, husband etc.

Iam64 Mon 20-Dec-21 08:52:44

Yes I agree, it’s affectionate and confirms we see her as a leader

I agree, GrannyGravy13. Disrespectful and spiteful.

Have seen that one before and it's not probably that far from what she is thinking

Whitewavemark2 Mon 20-Dec-21 10:20:32

You know how it is often best to ignore so that attention sought is not given ……………..

You are not the Gransnet behaviour monitors. We all left school a long, long time ago. Some of us only left it in body, it seems...

I'm sure the Queen is sobbing into her cornflakes at Paddyanne's rudeness.

I'm just eating my muesli getting annoyed at the rudeness of posters who think they have a duty to monitor everyone's posts and tell a poster off if it doesn't meet their standards of behaviour. Like bossy little girls in a primary school playground.

Do you do it in real life too?

That’s ironic MaizieD as you are doing the exact same thing…

That spite was unnecessary, Paddyann, at a time of year when the slogan should be "Goodwill to all men" - and all women, of course - whatever the level of their bank balances.

Grany Mon 20-Dec-21 11:14:33

Well the Head of State could uphold our constitution in the interests of the people, which she won't do, instead of agreeing everything PM asks pointless powerless What is she there for?

Agree with paddyann54 made me laugh ?

I'm with the Queen on this.
Good on her for putting that picture out and I look forward to hearing her give that very short speech at Xmas.
