Jeremy Corbyn is considering establishing his own political party after privately accepting he will never be reinstated as a Labour MP, The Telegraph understands.

The former Labour leader has been urged by many in his inner circle, including his wife Laura Alvarez, to upgrade his charity into a political party, and run under its banner at the next election.

ˋJeremy Corbyn and Claudia Webbe also voted against it but of course Starmer has thrown them out of his Parliamentary party for no good reason.´
Claudia Webbe convicted of harassment, criminal
Corbyn, accused of anti semetism, asked to apologise
www.thelondoneconomic.com/news/sarwar-calls-on-corbyn-to-apologise-to-jewish-community-as-one-msps-calls-for-whip-to-be-restored-307742/ Two good reasons why Starmer got rid of them.

Starmer has been throwing Jews out of the Labour party since he became leader. But that isn't antisemitic is it? They are of course the "wrong sort of Jew" www.middleeasteye.net/big-story/labour-antisemitism-jewish-opponents-israel-targeted

Desmond Tutu because of his views on Israel would be expelled from the Labour Party by Starmer.

trisher and Grany Our lives will be quieter when you go with Corbyn to the New Promised Land Party, but I hope you’re happy in your new home.

Grany Tue 11-Jan-22 21:02:56

Ain't got no promised land with Starmer though have you just broken promises hmm if you want to get personal smile

Casdon Tue 11-Jan-22 21:04:58

That’s why I called the Corbyn Party that! One party for idealists, one for pragmatists.

New Promised Land Party

You win, Casdon.
No-one could argue with that name, whether supporters or cynics.

It’s a bit ironic isn’t it, considering that the Prmised Land was for the Hebrews?

lemongrove Tue 11-Jan-22 22:42:18

Will Corbyn comfort me with apples? I know he has a large allotment ( not a euphemism btw) grin

Peasblossom Tue 11-Jan-22 22:47:38

Unlike the rest of the Song of Solomon ???????

lemongrove Tue 11-Jan-22 22:49:01

New Promised Land has a certain ring to it but won’t appeal to the atheists within the Party ( sorry Casdon)
How about the ‘New Marxist Party’ or even ‘The Old Marxist Party’ ? Or, ‘The Little Red Book Party’?
This breakaway Party isn’t going to happen is it....at least not with Corbyn as the front man.

Peasblossom Tue 11-Jan-22 22:49:59

The euphemisms I mean.

I think I’ve been overstayed with flagons tonight ?

lemongrove Tue 11-Jan-22 22:51:07

?????

Peasblossom Tue 11-Jan-22 22:52:26

Maybe just keep Momentum.

At least it’s clear what the new party would stand for.

Petition

Blair lieutenant – and now an advisor to current Labour leader Keir Starmer – Peter Mandelson 10 entries little black book.

Starmer seems to think there’s nothing amiss with this.

So there’s a petition calling for Mandelson’s Labour Party membership to be suspended while an independent investigation into the extent of his involvement with Epstein and Maxwell’s sex trafficking, paedophilia and sexual blackmail enterprise takes place.

Visit the petition page to see seven reasons Mandelson’s behaviour should be investigated.

Just to get the facts straight. Mandelson is gay. There has been no mention of underage boys anywhere in the stuff about Epstein and Maxwell.

A paedophile is someone who has a primary or exclusive sexual interest in prepubescent children. The youngest acknowledged victim of Epstein was 14 at the time. Unlikely to be prepubescent.

Lovely phrase - made me laugh out loud.

( certainly for me.)

I am sure grany will ask to have her post removed, to say Peter Mandelson who is gay and in a long time relationship with a MAN should be investigated into his involvement with
sex trafficking of young girls, surely this was slander ?

Germanshepherdsmum Wed 12-Jan-22 17:57:28

I did wonder whether Epstein catered for 'other tastes' when I read grany's post. If so, first I've heard of it.

Peasblossom Wed 12-Jan-22 18:06:02

Granys post doesn’t make sense to me. Perhaps she will come back and explain it more.

I don’t understand who the petition is made to. Is it to the Labour Party to revoke his membership on the grounds that he is being investigated? But I can’t find any evidence that he is being investigated.

Is it a petition that he should be investigated? That would have to be made to the Home Secretary. But the rules for petitions specifically state that they cannot contain any proven defamatory statements.

I think it was a very weird post. A “let’s see if we can get a rumour started”.

Peasblossom Wed 12-Jan-22 18:06:31

unproven

Peasblossom Wed 12-Jan-22 18:10:27

I’m also a bit puzzled by the comments on Keir Starmer “throwing Jewish members out of the Labour party.

What does that prove except that there is Antisemitism in the Labour Party no matter who is the leader?

That puzzled me too, considering Starmer's wife is Jewish.
