Carrie Johnson, nee Symonds, appears to be involved in almost if not all these "partygate" shenanigans and is the basis for the ridiculous expenditure in 10 Downing Street flat, now is revealed as organiser of BJ's birthday party. Why no censure or criticism of her?. She is a former press adviser to the Tory parity, so knows the situation.

It would be a life peerage but I trust it won't happen if he has to resign due to the current mess.

Mrs Johnson isn’t responsible for lockdown breaches. I shouldn’t have referred to her as Carrie Antoinette because that could suggest I blame her, rather than the PM for expensive refurbishments, garden parties, birthday parties and more.

It loathe Johnson but imagine he is attractive to some women. He is powerful which is attractive in itself and I imagine Carrie thinks she can change him and with her it will be different. She wont be the first woman to think that.

Carrie was not and is not a politician so whether or not you like her is not the issue. Marriage is no longer a requirement to have children or live together so where she lived is not important.

Carrie did, however, organise Boris's surprise birthday party with M&S food, drink and a ?.

Perhaps she didn't realise that the gathering she organised with food and drink was a party.
