This is going to cause so many problems in so many ways

So she came joint 5th with Thomas, which, considering that she was competing against a biological male was a fantastic achievement in itself, but she was then told that she had to accept the 6th place trophy for the photographs and her own 5th place trophy would be sent in the mail? And Thomas could have offered to share their 5th place trophy but didn't? Right. What could possibly be deemed to be male bias in that scenario? hmm And the trans allies can't understand why women are pissed off about this? No doubt someone will trot along shortly to tell me why I'm transphobic for seeing the unfairness of this.

It is cheating. I wonder how much support there is among families of swimmers and athletes for allowing the failed males to cheat in order to win. I’ve noticed that those who are too old for it to affect their chances of winning, or even competing seem to be more pro allowing males to cheat than those it actually affects.

The voices of those with misgivings about the whole trans issue problems are getting louder and louder MollyGo.

The British Cycling Assoc. seems to have banned trans participants, for now, until they can sort out a workable system.:

Yes for now, but apparently the sporting authority think if it would get us a medal that we might not otherwise get, he should be allowed to compete, so they are going to tweak the rules so it can happen.
How shameful!

But that’s because you have a conscience nanee49 obviously some of these athletes don’t, just the same as the ones that take drugs to win the race No fears of cheating just a need to win whatever

The tide is turning. Finally.

"Boris Johnston sounding like the most sensible person in the room"
Indeed, that is a bit of a shock but very welcome.

Can't argue with this.
Didn't realise how different men and women are!

Thank you for this link! It’s clear and concise so I’m saving it for future reference SnowberryZ.
Sadly, I think it will be ignored by a few people.

thanks for the link snowberryZ, one of the clearest I've seen. Isn't the animation of pregnancy brilliant? No wonder we feel uncomfortable during pregnancy, I always knew everything got 'squashed' up (mum was a midwife) but it explains having a bladder the size of a walnut grin
