Because black women tend to be disadvantaged in the US. They have less access to contraception and to termination. They are also more likely to die in childbirth, up to six times more than white women.

No, its not fully formed because if it was it would be viable outside the mother.

I'm not getting into this, but I trust the doctors and researchers to know when a baby is viable, and not some bigoted, religious people on the US right.

TheodoraP, I know of two young women who received news during the pregnancy of their much longed for second child, that the foetus had disabilities incompatible with life.
One woman terminated the pregnancy, one continued and gave birth to a child which lived a few days.
Which one was right? Both of them, of course, because they were able, in the midst of their grief and pain, to make a decision which was right for them and their families. I don't want those choices removed from them.

That is a complete kettle of fish

If you are told by a doctor that your child will live a horrid miserable disabled life that is a different thing entirely to aborting a perfectly healthy baby
