The O/P read (in part)

"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the population of Gaza will be displaced to the south after his security cabinet approved an expanded military operation in the enclave that a minister described as a plan to “conquer” the territory.

The vote on Sunday came hours after the military said it would mobilize tens of thousands of reservists, strengthening its capacity to operate in the besieged Palestinian territory.

“One thing will be clear: there will be no in-and-out,” Netanyahu said in a Monday video message posted on X. “We’ll call up reserves to come, hold territory — we’re not going to enter and then exit the area, only to carry out raids afterward. That’s not the plan. The intention is the opposite.”

We now have the aid crisis at the focus of world wide attention.

That is opinion.

I prefer facts.
I have no idea who Owen Jones is.

Wyllow3 Sun 08-Jun-25 17:39:14

Annie I would just genuinely like to know what sources you do read and respect, them we can read them,

I think some questions above just boil down to that.

It would help me a lot maybe others to know what you do value, what ways ahead you see as desirable/helpful.

Maremia Sun 08-Jun-25 18:39:55

Yes Allira, I agree, Jeremy Bowen and all of those other sources are reliable. I was wondering who Annieb favours, as she is wary of the BBC.

Owen Jones is irrelevant- but did you listen to that man and his insistence that every Palestinian child and baby should be killed without exception - as they are terrorists in the making. THAT is FACT, as he clearly says it. I could make a transcript- but no need, just listen to him.

Members of the Knesset have been saying this for some time.

The ugliness of evil.

Maremia Sun 08-Jun-25 18:50:16

That is the concept I was talking about earlier. It is called Amalak. You destroy everyone.

Anniebach Sun 08-Jun-25 18:53:08

Repeating what Palestinian Hamas been saying for a very long times, river to the sea

AGAA4 Sun 08-Jun-25 18:57:11

You are very tenacious Anniebach and I admire you for adhering to your own views.
I can't agree with those views though.

Maremia Sun 08-Jun-25 19:12:21

Little Palestinian children are not Hamas, or are we still in 'sins of the father' territory?

Whitewavemark2 Sun 08-Jun-25 19:14:07

Does anyone have any further information about the convoy of diplomats, politicians, activists and volunteers heading towards the Rafah crossing to try to stop the blockade?

Is it coordinating with the boat?

You don’t have to agree. We all hold different views.
I don’t agree with extremist views on Palestinian or Israeli sides.Neither do many others.

Well, yes - but I really would like to know what you read or what your views about "where to go next" Annie

I'm clear what you don't want or whom you dont agree with, but please can you let us know a bit more about these matters?

its been going on a long time and I still as I say dont know what you would like to see happening in Gaza and the West Bank.

Wyllow3 Sun 08-Jun-25 19:24:03

I realise you might not be able to produce links, but people who peak out whom you agree with, so we can look them up?

This is not an attack its in the spirit of learning.

Iam64 Sun 08-Jun-25 19:24:26

I live an ordinary life - I don’t know anyone who supports extremist views on either Palestinian or Israeli side

Wyllow3 Sun 08-Jun-25 19:24:35

speak out not peak out.

So unsurprisingly the little yacht has been seized by the Israeli navy.

And true to form they are acting totally illegally by taking a British boat, which was breaking no law.

They care nothing for world opinion.

JenniferEccles Mon 09-Jun-25 08:07:51

The Israelis have described it as a ‘selfie’ boat, full as it is with activists.

The activists are to be shown a video of the brutality of the October 7 Hamas attack on innocent Israelis which started all this.

Whitewavemark2 Mon 09-Jun-25 08:31:20

What is the point of that?

The boat was trying to bring the worlds attention to the genocide in Gaza.

How on Earth showing them a video of the atrocity of Oct 23 going to help things?

It certainly wouldn’t change my mind that genocide is an act of indescribable cruelty, and illegality.

Anniebach Mon 09-Jun-25 08:39:32

The world didn’t know of the war ?

The nationalities of the activists is not spoken of, their countries are silent .

12 people in a boat taking food, medical supplies and prosthetic limbs to two million people

It was a publicity stunt using the horrors of war

Whitewavemark2 Mon 09-Jun-25 08:47:49

It is not a war.

It is genocide

Anniebach Mon 09-Jun-25 08:52:23

A country invades another country , the invaded country fights
back = War

Whitewavemark2 Mon 09-Jun-25 09:17:01

This

Anniebach Mon 09-Jun-25 09:28:56

There were many posters of the Swastika displayed on marches
in London, these were truth !

Whitewavemark2 Mon 09-Jun-25 09:38:16

Not carried by Professor Goldberg though.

Anniebach Mon 09-Jun-25 09:40:54

Others aboard the yacht included Rima Hassan, a French Member of the European Parliament, Omar Faiad, a journalist for Al Jazeera and Thiago Avila, a Brazilian who attended the funeral of Hezbollah chief Hasan Nasrallah in February, describing the dead terrorist as a “martyred saint and beloved leader who inspired people across the globe, and a historic figure in the anti-colonial struggle
