Genocide is being attemped in Israel by Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, etc. I support Israel's right to defend itself and if that means obliterating that nest of vipers in Gaza City, then so be it. Israel is not killing Palestinians in order to rid the world of Palestinians, it is trying to destroy Hamas' leadership, get back the remaining hostages, and stop anything like the events of 9 October 2023 ever happening again.

Hamas claimed the number of dead, still claims number of dead

It doesn’t stop at 65000 deaths - there are over 200000 injured according to the IDF. Then of course there is the consequences of lack of nutrition, and starvation.

It quite obviously isn’t!
If killing any Palestinians were the objective then they needn’t trouble themselves to try and root out hamas.But that’s exactly what they are doing in Gaza City right now.That and getting the remaining hostages back.

Why is it strange to be commentating on a situation that involves input from our own Government?

You have heard this all before on other threads and I will repeat it here,

Knesset politicians have signed letters calling for the 'complete cleansing' of the territory.

Israel is simply preparing Gaza for a complete takeover and development. They have said so. There is no other plan.

The fly in the ointment will always be the Palestinians. The concentration camps will contain them for the time, but I am sure that Israel has a plan as to what must be done with them. They can’t stay in Gaza that’s for sure.

If the aim was to 'root out Hamas' why are so many dead and injured?
Why did they have to kill so many children because they thought one Hamas fighter was nearby?
Why did Israel put a blockade on aid for 3 months then inhibited it getting through ever since.
This is not how a civilised country behaves as so very very many believe now.

Was a talk given in the university of South Sussex yesterday by a medical ethics professor - it is a medical school - regarding how the Israeli government targeted hospitals in Gaza thereby preventing medical care. Another condition of genocide ticked.

Netanyahu planned the attack 7th October 2023 with Hamas, he ordered all defence forces to take the 7th October 2023 off work , still to avoid being prosecuted,

then Trump is elected.

Trump and Netanyahu will take Gaza by force and turn it into a luxury holiday resort.

Trying to call it defence now is laughable. It stopped being defence a long time ago.

I agree but Israel refused further talks to ensure a ceasefire whereby the hostages could be handed back.
Families of the hostages are now blaming the government, some have been camped outside Netanyahus house.
