Worst human[tchsad]

My human must be the worst mum in the world! Today I was belting in from a toilet visit to the garden as it was lashing down and she caught the tip of my tail in the door!!
I yelped I can tell you but because I am a brave dog I also wagged it lots. Mum seemed put out by the amount of blood being sprayed on the kitchen walls, radiator, cupboard fronts and the doors, and also by the trail of drips on the floor tchconfused
What is a "chainsaw massacre"?
Now she has tried to bandage it, but I think the choice of a RED bandage was in questionable taste.
I think I might have to swap her for a new mum sad

My Grandad says 'I loathe cats'. Not sure what that means - is it something similar to love?
I usually like to climb onto his knee when he comes to my house, so he can't move and it is so comfortable there that I can spend the whole afternoon purring and moulting all over his lovely trousers.

Some cautionary tails(see what she did there?)
My bandage is off, but the tip of my tail is itching so I've been trying to give it a good old nibble and lick and now, she's put a muzzle on to stop me!!!(will someone PLEASE rescue a rescue greyhound!!)

hmm not sure what to think, perhaps that's very fetching, and a really Christmassy colour too.

Take heart, Grace, you could set a trend there!
It doesn't stop you grumbling at her does it? I hope not!
She needs to learn her place.

Best wishes again
Susie

You live a bit far away from me in London so I would find it very difficult to pop in and bring you here. You would receive all the love and attention that is obviously sadly lacking in your house.

What on earth is your mum going to do next? Tie you down? I will definitely report her but I think that the RSPCA are well aware of what is going on in your house.

You do look very sorry for yourself and I am not surprised.

Tom, if your grandfather will not give you eye contact he probably does not like cats but you are obviously trying to make a new friend and going about it the right way. I would not bother too much about his trousers, there will be somebody to clean them. As long as you are happy and comfortable that is all that really matters.

there will be somebody to clean them.
lol Charleygirl

Tom is not very old, he is staking his territory and grandad's knee is the best place. He almost (but not quite) likes Tom now!!
A feline psychologist.

Grace which would be worse, that fetching red muzzle or one of those white head cones?
Although, on second thoughts, perhaps if you had one of those white head cones you could double as a Christmas angel in the nativity play.
Just a thought.

Bless his little pussy heart, he merely flinched loudly !! Worlds best cat ( with high pitched purr)!!

Exploit her - this kind of incident can keep your human on her toes for weeks. They have this thing called GUILT so make the most of it. Plus, it's coming close to Christmas, that always sets them off on an extra emotional, easy to exploit state. Go for it Grace - love from doodle mania

If canine misfortunes come in threes I hope that is now that. 10 days ago I feared Grace was on the way out because she seemed unable to weight bear on one back leg (she IS 12), but after a sleepless night and much grief it was so much better the next day that I think it was a "wrist/ankle" strain caused by one of her mad racing greyhound gallops round the garden.
Then there was the tale of the tail, but the bandage which had gone on again was licked off yesterday and her tail does seem to have stopped bleeding.
However, last night I gave her a Jointcare chew as a treat or so I thought. She started pawing at her mouth with her front paws, drawing some blood (sharp teeth, white hair) and was less than friendly when I tried to open her mouth to see what was wrong. Grace would never have bitten me in cold blood (!) but she was panicking this time, so I had to put a leather glove on my left hand to prise her jaws open and found part of the chew wedged across the roof of her mouth between her teeth. Easy for me to flick it out, but she couldn't do it with paws.
Breathe.

Duncan the Cairo sends kind regards to Grace. He adores all things greyhound especially lady greyhounds. What he particularly enjoys is trying to catch them when they run.

Galen Mon 07-Dec-15 09:18:37

How is his bottom these days?

shysal Mon 07-Dec-15 09:51:39

At least none of you has been humiliated by having to wear a T shirt! I had a wound on my side stitched with no anaesthetic, I was very brave.

I think you all need to ask for a Dogsnet forum.

Barmy

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 07-Dec-15 09:59:58

Oh! It could include the moggies.

Alea Mon 07-Dec-15 10:14:24

Well talking about bitches of the canine sort and our lovely moggies beats some of the bitching controversy that seems to characterise the political threads

Cool t shirt BTW! Could start a trend?

wotanuisanceABC123 Mon 07-Dec-15 11:04:59

Hear, Hear, Alea! Totally agree!

rosequartz Mon 07-Dec-15 11:24:41

Galen Mon 07-Dec-15 13:23:46

Good! I've spent the last few years worrying about the cat/dog's bottom!

whitewave Mon 07-Dec-15 13:30:39
