Last year I lost my two dogs after 16 years and decided to wait until after Christmas before getting another.
I knew I didn't want the puppy stage so looked at rescue dogs but to be honest I didn't want problems .I wanted a happy dog that was well socialised and I found one!!!
keith is a 17 month old spaniel, german shepherd cross and he is delightful such a happy dog with bags of energy. His last owner didn't have the time for him after a marital breakdown and was so upset at letting him go but knew it was better for him
Today we had an hour in the woods and this afternoon I took him to the stables and walked him over the fields after mucking out.Bath time was a giggle as he kept dropping his toy in the bath for me to throw..my house feels home again.Yes it was cleaner without a dog but my physical and mental health are much improved with one.

Lovely pic of Keith. He looks so friendly.

Thanks to those asking about Georgie. I have been updating her progress in Soop's kitchen.

Lovely happy dog jenn ( did you name him, it seems unusual name for a dog.)

His last owners named him but it does suit him.
