What shall we call our new kitten?

I know we helped nina (or not!) so I am hoping you can help us as we are stuck for a name for the kitten we are keeping. She was born in June

I will continue to try taking a photo of her but she is a short haired, dark tabby with white bib and wellies.

We have two other cats - an all black male born during the Rugby World Cup - his name is Kiwi.

The kitten's Mum was born in May and is, therefore, called Maisie.

Please help - inspiration has dried up in the Lester household.

Have you noticed how many girls' names end in 'y' or 'ie' these days?
or 'e' pronounced 'y'!

She does look like Mog though!

I should have mentioned we once had a (female) kitten called Billy. It's the (anglicised version of) Punjabi word for "cat".

Well, well, well, do you really need to ask the nations for a name, what's wrong with you there are hundreds to choose from. My dog is named Mabon from the Mabinogi (Welsh myths and legends) Mabon was the bravest of the knights.

I saw a court case on TV where a prosecutor was called Miss FLEAK - that always struck me as a good cat name. I think if I got twin kittens now I might go with Fleak and Finbar!

I like Cassie, it seems a lovely name for a kitten.

The whole family got to choose a name for our first cat when I was a child.
His full name was Joseph Shenanigan O'Shaunessey McGillicuddy Pryke…..or Joey Puss.

When my daughters were young they named their kittens and cats after Musicals, they had Mack and Mabel, Halfa (Half a Sixpence) and Barnum (Barney for short)

As all cat-lovers will tell you (and I am not one) cats are very independent, so maybe your kitten could choose its own name.

We had a Smokey, a Tia, and a Tinker. Smokey was a stray brought home from the Flying Club. She stank of cigarette smoke (poor thing) so that's how she got her name.

I know two cats called Purdy, which I think is cute. Or Harriet (in honour of Harry Kane)

My suggestion is Jasmine already chosen by someone up thread. Shortened to Jazz it could encompass your DHs love of the music.
DDs cats are Maisie and Grace
