I do think it's a great idea for publicising Gransnet. It doesn't have to be old hat at all.

1 make people realise that we ARE NOT STUPID, JUST BECAUSE WE'RE OLDER THAN THEM
2 raise money for a charity (to be agreed between the participatents)
3 raise awareness of the fact that older people exist and have opinions
4 to make people aware that the older body is not! Something of which to be ashamed!

It's a lovely painting, isn't it? I'm not quite sure what she's lying on, it sometimes almost looks like fur of some sort.

Not sure if it's a famous enough work to qualify though.

Doesn't have to be famous! Just an idea for ideas!
We would not be named, and there are lots of poses where the face is not visible!
Eg. The only glimpse you get of the Rokeby Venus' face is in the mirror held by the Cupid or putti! If you substitute the mirror with a Mac Pro! Voila!

A long haired wig if you bend forward hides the face. So would a large Gainsborough style dad if tilted!
