I did wonder about the down time. So many reported those posters.

I think the downtime was probably to do with Admin sorting out all the posts from the two jokers who thought it was funny to use obscene and insulting language. Some are still there, but there don't appear to be any new ones.

It might have been a good idea to cleanup the boards before they sent the newsletter out.
The newsletter links to threads on which the trolls are posting their pathetic filth.

I did want to say I couldn't possibly use it as a natural painkiller as I'm a vegetarian but I thought I'd be accused of joining in

The newsletter also links to a thread (the Room 101 one) in which op is a dubious character who says, apropos of nothing, that they "hate spiteful old women", and that they will not be visiting the site again.
None of the these threads are a good advertisement for the site. I pressume that's what the newsletter is for?

I quickly went from thread to thread reporting, but it takes a bit of time when you are typing your reason. I reported 6 but I know there were more offensive posts than that.
