'Bigs' or 'smalls'?

For years, I have worn high leg briefs from M and S. Just recently they have started to annoy me so I decided to try full briefs. I wish I'd done it years ago- they are sooo comfy. Not exactly sexy to look at but frankly who cares? Not me!
Has anyone else done similar? Just wondering.
I remember when my MIL was about my age( early 60's) and she stayed with us as we lived away (hence why I did her washing) and she laughed about her 'bigs' next to my 'smalls'- how the years roll round and now its me with the 'bigs' and my DIL with the (skimpy) 'smalls'!

About 4 years ago I went into big knickers... sloggi. Then I discovered M & S pants on line. Full brief, beautifully light and stretchy. Made of Modal. Seconds but I have yet to find a flaw, label is snipped. They are 5 pairs for about £9. So comfy and so much cheaper than Sloggi. I think it was eBay. But possibly Amazon.

Always gone for bigs myself. My mother always bought new knickers when she was going on holiday . I have so many I do not need to buy more .

I have every style except thongs and my choice of underwear depends on what clothes I plan to wear.

Nothing wrong with the Asda packs of 4 for £4.50. I throw a pack in my trolley nearly every time I shop there. Dozens of packs unopened in my drawer. Like you Floradora I don't need any more.

Frankly, after coming across thongs in my dirty linen basket when youngest daughter lived at home, they looked just like umbilical cords, twisted, unsexy and unlovely. Ugh!

inishowenMy grandmother wore directoire knickers too. My father once blew up a pair of water wings and popped them inside when they were in the washing line.We grandchildren thought that was hilarious.

I still wear them, very comfortable.
