I’m looking for the holy grail of moisturisers - does it exist?
I prefer creams without too many irritating chemical as I end up itchy and sore. I’ve tried various creams and as I’ve got older and we go into winter and cold windy weather my skin is feeling dry and a bit sore. Anyone got any suggestions, please

Thank you Purplepoppies, really useful & important to know AVEENO is tested on animals, therefore shouldn't be bought by anyone. There are plenty of good, natural products on the market that aren't. I recently had actinic keratosis on my face & had to apply an anti cancer cream for 3 weeks. It worked well but left blotches on the rest of my face which looked permanent. Having been helped by CBD for pain I thought I'd try the cream, fairly new I think. I was amazed at the result - not only did it get rid of the blotches my whole face looks smoother & younger. I now use both the night & day cream ( H&B).

As a long term dry skin sufferer, I am always very careful about moisturizers. Have been using Eucerin products for the last 4 years and though a little expensive, a little goes a long way and need replacing less often.

Superdrugs own brand....they have a few moisturisers and creams, they all scored very highly when skin creams were assessed for efficacy and are very reasonable in price, all under ten pounds. Night time try putting on moisturiser then topping off with Vaseline, especially around the eye area and anywhere you have lines. Ophthalmologists have long recommended Vaseline around the eye area especially for leaky eyes which can cause sore skin.

I use a Korean brand namely Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream, (pea sized amount for whole face 100ml lasts for around 9 months) its for very sensitive skin, its my holy grail brand and then on top of that Apivita Light Face Cream SPF30 50ml, chemical free Greek brand, it's a sun care item but I use it year round. I have celtic fair skin and react to silicones and perfume in products. Hope this helps.
