All dressed up and nowhere to go

I bought a rather nice Joe Browns dress on line for half price. I've worn it in the garden a couple of times when it's been really hot.

Yes, bought a few tunics, dress and leggings from seasalt, not worn them as yet....I like to look at them hanging up and thinking it wont be long before i wear you LOL....also un dergarments from M & S, they need to be worn now lol...

I started buying summer clothes and sandals before the lockdown. They are all in the wardrobe. I haven't worn any yet but hopefully theres always next year

janeainsworth It’s so easy to do by mistake - just accidentally type in some random letters on the keyboard and before you know it you’ve added things to a basket and checked them out. They really should make it much harder to make those kind of accidents!

and SirChenjin I’ve discovered that on some sites my credit card fills in the details all by itself and all I have to do is remember my 3-digit security number!

I know!!! And I get cards through my letterbox with discount codes and money off gift vouchers - how on Earth do they know where I live or when my birthday is?

I've just bought a Phase Eight Top, but in my defence, I was reading this thread and the advert appeared at the side! .

It was half price, with free delivery and yesterday was my birthday, so it's Ok. Well that's what I'm telling myself!

Absolutely it’s OK - in fact, a law was passed recently that said you have to buy a Phase Eight top on your Birthday Boxing Day

I’ve been doing quite a lot of on line shopping I’ve lost a few stone in weight since becoming ill and it’s doing my dh head in when the doorbell goes he’s to answer it as I’m not yet in a good position to do so myself. I’ve had such fun looking at several online retail shops. Nae money left.

I bought a new dress back in March, intending to wear it for Mothering Sunday, but that didn't happen.
I have been looking for my footbed sandals to wear, but I guess I must have left them in our holiday home in France. I can't decide whether to buy some more or make do with my canvas pumps.

These comments have cheered me up after numerous texts from children on the topic of whether to send grandchildren back to school in June. Thanks.

I bought a dress online in Medium and was humiliated to discover it did not fit my lockdown figure! Sent it back and asked for a Large replacement. Oh dear!

Some days I am an absolute slob and may not even wash my face properly, and some days I dress up and have gone for my daily walk in my best coat. Only trouble with dressing up and going for a walk is that flat shoes are for walking and heels are for dressing up. But most days I dress tidily, with eye makeup.

That's funny ,Lettice. Since this hand washing thing I have been washing my face with soapy lather on the same principle as hand washing.
