Women’s Parallel Wide Trousers - love or loathe?

Do you like the new wide leg trousers that are abundant in the shops this Autumn and will you be wearing them?
I bought a smart black pair this week and like the style. Of course we wore them in the 70’s so they are not new.
The advantage for me is they skim over my lumpy bits at the bottom and thighs.

I have two pairs of wide leg jeans, but neither are very wide, as in they don't cover my shoe. I like the look, and the comfort. The skinny jean era was never for me. Not so much because I don't like the look, but I felt so constricted in them.
