Wide leg trousers

I have finally bought a pair of wide leg trousers in a lovely soft material , after a lot of humming and debating with myself. I think I like them on me , but at 5’1 I don’t know , are they “me”.
Anyone other petite ladies out there bought them soon,
Also am not sure what to wear on top , do I wear with a little heel or flats. Oh. Decisions Decisions. Thoughts on this welcomed.

I'm 5' and feel they don't suit me. Having said that it's becoming increasingly difficult to find normal width. I expect by the time I get a pair they will be on the way out.

I bought these for a recent holiday. I'm 5'4 so they almost came down to my ankles, even though they're cropped, lol.

I am 5ft 1 and love wide leg trousers. I have been wearing them for years, long before they became this years fashion. They look better with a fitted top. So comfortable. I get mine from Bonmarche because they are one of the few places now that cater for petite ladies.

I wear loose trousers because if I wore close fitting trousers I'd be the shape of an apple with wee legs hanging down.
