All the James Bond films. Well I haven't seen that many. Obviously.

Grossi Mon 11-Jun-12 10:08:55

2001 A Space Odyssey.

nightowl Mon 11-Jun-12 10:31:35

Yes 2001 definitely!

I went to see it in the 70's with my boyfriend, now OH, and fell asleep in the cinema. He was disgusted that I didn't appreciate it. That should have told me something!

Worst recent film - Black Swan. Pretentious drivel.

Oh yes I couldn't bring myself to go and ee that one esp when I saw what real ballet dancers thought of it.

Lastsongster Mon 11-Jun-12 10:58:33

Warhorse. Utter nonsense.

Honey I shrunk the kids and ET !

ameliaanne Mon 11-Jun-12 11:31:38

I never made it to the end of Titanic on the television. I hadn't seen it at the cinema.

nanaej Mon 11-Jun-12 11:53:27

Mama Mia.. was dire!

Hankipanki Mon 11-Jun-12 11:54:38

The Road (post apocalypse world) so depressing.

Anagram Mon 11-Jun-12 11:55:08

Agreed, nanaej!

moomin Mon 11-Jun-12 11:58:05

Oh I can't pinpoint just one! All the above apart from one or two JB films which I enjoyed when they were out in the '60s. Everyone raved about "Warhorse" - can't understand why, every cliche imaginable. "Black Swan" - absolutely awful. What on earth was "Mama Mia" supposed to be for? Presumably killing some good Abba songs! I could ramble on, but it's nearly lunchtime . . .

Stansgran Mon 11-Jun-12 12:49:40

Mamma Mia -excruciating

susiecb Mon 11-Jun-12 13:04:17

Maniac Mon 11-Jun-12 14:58:25

I actually walked out of a Mike Leigh film in the 90s in London. So memorable I can't even remember the title !or the actors.

merlotgran Mon 11-Jun-12 15:05:43

Lost In Translation......I fell asleep.

whenim64 Mon 11-Jun-12 15:15:46

'They Shoot Horses Don't They' - as I remember it involved couples marathon dancing, but as I fell asleep in the first 20 minutes and my then fiancee woke me up to plead 'can we go before I kill myself?' I'm not really sure what else it was about grin

crimson Mon 11-Jun-12 15:17:19

Uncle Boonmee who can recall his past lives; 5 star rating in the Independant. Really looked forward to Black Swan; what a disappointment sad.

Annobel Mon 11-Jun-12 17:22:58

The Mothman Prophecies. Supposedly horror film. Never a spine tingle - just silly!

Humbertbear Mon 11-Jun-12 22:00:33

I agree with Nightowl - Black Swan was a load of rubbish. The only film I can remember walking out of was The Royal Tenenbaums but there are a few others I hated but sat through.

crimson Mon 11-Jun-12 22:23:15

I haven't seen The Royal Tenenbaums, but I did see the director's latest film, Moonrise Kingdom last week so I kinda get what you mean. All style and no substance.

Anagram Mon 11-Jun-12 22:28:21

I saw The Royal Tenenbaums on TV. It was laughable...

crimson Mon 11-Jun-12 22:40:33

Is that laughable in a good way grin. I mean, was it so bad it was good.....? [methinks not]
