Hoped this was going to be a great comedy about older people- but the stereotypes portrayed by all the women completely put me off. They don't drive, or if they do they can't park, they badger their sons, they can't turn their mobile to silent and they push themselves in where they aren't wanted because there is a grandchild due. Oh and they don't like their husbands drinking.
What a contrast to the real women I know. I especially thought the attitude towards the arrival of the grandchild was crass. Most of the women I know are sympathetic and sensitive towards their SILs and DILs, try to be helpful and stop themselves giving advice unless they are asked. As for the drinking they are probably at the pub first and demanding a bottle of wine !
