My son's buddy, the wildlife presenter, Steve Backshall has just been announced as a contestant on Strictly.
He is a thoroughly nice young man with a very nice physic - need I say more. 
Don't know what his dancing is like though.

Free dance lessons from some of the elite in dance teaching - and getting paid for it as well! Getting fit, there seems to be a lot of fun involved as well not to mention, as you have, publicity. Not a lot of reasons not to imo - best programme on television 
Just so long as you are not going to exhort us to vote for him every week (unless he is brilliant of course)!!
