If they mumble, put subtitles on. I nearly always do anyway, because I live in a flat and don't want to disturb others.

A lot of people seem to be complaining about the terrible sound quality, as well as the dim lighting!

It seems to be becoming a 'cult' with the BBC to produce most of it's plays in the darkest possible conditions. First everyone was mumbling now they seem to be mumbling in the dark.
