You could hear the fear in Ursula's voice or was I imagining it.

What would the courts say if Rob moved away at this point. The decision about who he lives with cannot be final until September; Henry is established at his school, etc. Would they allow Rob to move him?

Funny when his dad phoned Rob didn't engage him, just passed him to his mother. No love lost there me thinks. I guess we will gradually glean clues to the root of family's dysfunctional behaviour when Titchener senior arrives, if he plays more of an active part in drama. Perhaps you regulars have picked this up previously, but I have missed episodes featuring him. We may even end up feeling sorry for Rob............No perhaps not!

Am I the only one who wants to throttle Helens father? I can understand that he doesn't want to antagonise Rob, but to answer the phone and say " hello Rob, how can I help you"? Spineless *$€^%#>

Why Tony petra and phoenix? This is an incredibly difficult situation and both Tony and Pat are dealing with it as best they can. Add to that the fact that they are now well aware Rob will twist anything he can to use against them and I really don't know what you think he could do.

Of course Tony could be curt or even lose his temper but where would that get them?

The last time we heard from Bruce Rob was on life support I think so we haven't actually heard an exchange between them have we?

I love the Archers, have listened to it for years. It always amuses me how polite they all are to each other saying 'Evening' or 'Afternoon' when they meet but it really gets up my nose when they call the evening meal 'Supper'.
Now what do you call supper where you live? Supper to me is a cup of cocoa and a biscuit!!!

tiffany I call it supper, tea, dinner, my evening meal all depending on the how, when and why of it I don't have the sort of supper that is cocoa and a biscuit so I suppose the name has got borrowed. I think it got varied when it stopped being a set dinner at a set time.

This may amuse If you go down in the comments to the one by Nuttycow 19 March, 2008 at 6:30 pm you will see she mentions "kitchen sups" - very Cotswolds! That is one I can really live without.

It's supper in our house and we don't 'set' the table, we 'lay' it.

Only on high days and holidays though.....most times we just grab a knife and fork out of the kitchen drawer.

I would have thought they'd be pleased that Henry wasn't given Sunday Lunch or he wouldn't have been hungry when he returned to BHC and I'm sure his picnic contained more than a shrivelled sandwich.

How old is Ursula? She is poisonous but seems to be doing everything. Presume she has full care of Henry. Bruce must be lost without her.

Gracesgran I understand that they don't want to antagonise him. But don't answer the phone by asking " what can I do for you" just say hello, as most people do when they answer the phone.
And why wasn't the barrister aware that Rob only uses his walking stick when he goes to court? He's around the village enough without it.
