So, as the trial has been and gone, we are all glad that Helen won, and Rob had his true self revealed, will the rift 'tween Adam & Ian be healed?

Whose jam will be judged to be the best? Will Joe approach his final rest?

Will Grange Farm rent be paid on time?

Can I be arsed inspired to write more drivel rhyme?

Away we go!

Yes, Go Susan. Great scene in the shop wasn't it.

Henry is played by a boy aged 6 or 7, according to the Archers information. He reads his lines independently of the story line.

Tom would find it very difficult if Roy and Kirsty fell in love, wouldn't he. I confess to hoping that Kirsty and Tom rekindle their relationship and live happily together with their baby. Isn't Tom supposed to be going abroad on that fellowship thing?

Roy and Kirsty to become an item? Wasn't there a line about the love interest you are looking for being right under your nose? ?

Go Susan!!! All power to your elbow!!

Susan was magnificent tonight. About time somebody really stood up to Rob rather than just avoiding him.

Anyone else read the Article about Sarah Coward aka Caroline who has terminal cancer, but wants her part to carry on? It was hard to take to the new/old Clarke and even more to the new Tony when Colin Skipp gave up. However now we know when she and Oliver went to Italy. We must assume that Debbie was between jobs. Sorry for getting actors/ people muddled ! And yes please get a real child for Henry soon!!

I see that the new editor is only just starting this week, so hopefully the storyline will improve as apart from Kirsty's pregnancy it's been as dull as ditchwater for last few months. Ridiculous romance with Pip and Toby for example. I also hope they'll drop the simulated voice that is Henry and introduce a juvenile actor to play the part more realistically too.

Don't worry merlotgran, the baby will cope, s/he will be adored by Kirsty and surrounded by loving adults who meet the baby's needs well. Kirsty won't let those Button girls baby sit

merlotgran Wed 04-Jan-17 10:57:31

How confusing for the poor baby. Living with Roy but with Tom doing his 'hands on' dad stuff when he's not swanning off on his Nuffield.

AyjayF Wed 04-Jan-17 10:32:57

Wonder if people will assume Kirstys baby is Roy's?

I think Rob will engage in therapy, get the vicar on side. Try to wiggle his way back into Helen's affections. It's the only way to get to His Boys and regain control, recognition and authority.

Nelliemoser Wed 04-Jan-17 07:44:07

Rob engage in therapy! In the first place he does not feel anything is his fault.
Is there any therapy about?
Would any sensible person ever want to trust him again?

suzied Wed 04-Jan-17 02:44:44

And Tracey Horobin seems to have found a voice !

Elrel Tue 03-Jan-17 23:05:54

I thought they were still at primary school! Didn't Molly B ruin Lynda's maypole dance a few years ago? They deserve bigger roles, come on SW!!

AyjayF Tue 03-Jan-17 22:52:20

Love them Buttons!!

merlotgran Tue 03-Jan-17 22:24:37

Every now and again the Button girls are mentioned but does anyone know anything about them other than they have a knack of popping up and raising eyebrows?

Didn't one of them make eyes at Johnny when he first appeared in Ambridge. I think it was the village fete or something?

They're a scriptwriter's dream. When in doubt, get the Button girls involved. Nobody else would dare write wanker a nasty message in lipstick on Rob's windscreen.

Iam64 Tue 03-Jan-17 21:44:20

I mean a scally wag not a scaly one

Iam64 Tue 03-Jan-17 21:43:47

What do we know about the Button girls? I only remember hearing about them in the panto auditions. Loving them already, George grundy has competition for being a scaly wag

AyjayF Tue 03-Jan-17 19:17:20

Wow. Those Button girls. Wonder what they wrote on Robs windscreen??!!

www.tumblejungle.co.uk/

"Indoor adventure playground" they call,themselves.
The children loved it.

DaphneBroon Mon 02-Jan-17 21:08:23

Our DGS had his fifth and his sixth parties at a place called Tumble Jungle in Birmingham. It was carnage (but I suppose might qualify for the designation "Soft Play" area?)

merlotgran Mon 02-Jan-17 20:24:00

He was six today and had his birthday party in a soft play area hmm

AyjayF Mon 02-Jan-17 20:21:20

How old is Henry?

merlotgran Mon 02-Jan-17 20:03:14

I wanted to scream when Pat started treating Helen like a fragile flower just because she started making suggestions about what she'd like to do in the shop.

What with Henry still talking like a three year old and Jack still in a Moses basket.....there really is something odd about that family grin

AyjayF Mon 02-Jan-17 19:57:34

Helen should have kept the card as evidence that Rob is not keeping out of hers + Henry's life.

merlotgran Sat 31-Dec-16 17:55:00

Rob's reaction to the news should be interesting.
