It isn't something I usually comment on but

Leslie Joseph is 71 in two weeks time!!!!!!!

Ana Sun 27-Nov-16 20:08:04

Agree that it was right that Ed went tonight - no contest really! But it will be boring from now on, especially after Judge Rinder goes.

cornergran Sun 27-Nov-16 20:04:33

I'm pleased with the outcome. Can't predict who may be next. hmm

Jane10 Sun 27-Nov-16 19:58:51

Nooooooo! No fun any more. Just boring show dancers (apart from Judge)

TerriBull Sun 27-Nov-16 19:58:48

He's gone! I know it was about time, but we shall miss him.

Alima Sun 27-Nov-16 19:47:48

Brilliant start to the show tonight.

Yes, with any luck it will be bye bye Ed!

petra Sun 27-Nov-16 18:39:07

49! He must have had a hard life, not. More like too much free food and drink.

Jalima Sun 27-Nov-16 18:09:57

Petra, Yvette was campaigning against health cuts yesterday
perhaps she encouraged Ed to do this for the good of his health - he was getting quite porky, hard to believe he is only 49.

Charleygirl Sun 27-Nov-16 17:18:40

I would love to see Danny in the dance off as he is so smug but I doubt if that will happen. In fairness to Ed he has been on various programmes this week and has thanked the public for voting him in week after week. If he is in a dance off that will be the end of him. I think that he and judge Rinder are the weakest dancers now. Good luck to them all tonight.

annodomini Sun 27-Nov-16 15:58:43

Louise is one who has improved week by week. She has climbed the leader board and I hope that she gets the viewers' votes this week. Kevin's choreography is brilliant. They are my outside bet.

Ana Sun 27-Nov-16 15:38:08

I agree Jane10 - Danny is so pleased with himself all the time despite not having had to learn that much. It's pretty obvious he's going to win.

magpie123 Sun 27-Nov-16 15:37:51

Hope Claudia and AJ are not in the dance off, felt they were under marked, if it had been Louise she would have got 10s. I like Danny and Claudia. Judge Tinder is so over the top when he speaks and Ore forever crying. Louise although she is a good dancer I can't get excited about her. Also loved Daisy. Just hope Ed goes tonight and not one of the better dancers. He never says thank you either when voted through like the others do.

Of course its perfectly possible to assemble a group of people with absolutely no dance experience. It would make the programme 100% more enjoyable. If Ed and Judge go the the show will lose a whole lot of viewers -including me. Can't stand that slimy Danny.

ninathenana Sun 27-Nov-16 14:54:46

Lisa Riley is evidence that you don't have to be lithe to be able to dance. Ed just dosen't have the ability.
I say that as a plus size person.

Anya Sun 27-Nov-16 14:45:49

Agree that the two weakest are Judge Rinder and Ed Balls. So Ed to go this week and Rinder next??

Gagagran Sun 27-Nov-16 14:38:39

I don't care for Robert Rinder either - the two of them should be in the dance off tonight and if they are Ed is toast and Rob will be next week.

I hope Danny wins overall as he is by far the best dancer and mesmerising to watch. I really don't care that he started from a higher base level. I would far rather watch somebody good than somebody like Ed.

It would be impossible to assemble a group of 15 celebs who are all at an identical level anyway. There will always be one who is better than all the rest at the outset.

petra Sun 27-Nov-16 14:10:32

magpie123 . That's my biggest problem with him, that smug look: as in, I knew I would get through.
I've offered up a prayer to the gods of good taste and standards and hopefully the horror that is ed Balls will end tonight. smile smile smile

magpie123 Sun 27-Nov-16 14:00:55

I can't stand his smug face when he gets voted through. Time to go Ed Balls.

petra Sun 27-Nov-16 13:25:38

Ed Balls doesn't have a disability but he does have an inabillity to recognise that he's rubbish at dancing. The trouble is: all the hype has gone to his head.

Azie09 Sun 27-Nov-16 12:36:10

Being able to dance is a state of mind. Judging people as 'not able to dance' is a put down, the kind of thing all too prevalent in the UK, just so people don't 'get above themselves'. I can't dance anymore either so sorry, playing that card kind of back fired! But perhaps Ed Balls has some disability I can't see?

Granny23 Sun 27-Nov-16 11:53:50

DH - formerly a dance band drummer - is constantly criticising the music. For ballroom dancing the melody is secondary - it is the tempo that matters. How can the dancers produce a proper strict tempo dance when they are dancing to another rhythm? DH is constantly shouting at Len in particular who must know that the music is wrong for the dance.

As to Ed - he cannot dance. He does not have it in him. He performs like one of the dancing dog acts on BGT - well trained but not actually dancing.

petra Sun 27-Nov-16 11:26:34

So nobody but me ( on here) found his air- thrusting crotch finally to the routine very embarrassing ? As my father would have said: a jokes a joke, but f**k a pantomime.
I notice Evette wasn't in the audience, perhaps she'd seen the routine and didn't want to be seen applauding it.

suzied Sat 26-Nov-16 21:22:13

Danny Mac is a professional dancer and it shows. He is great but it's not a level playing field, Ore has never had any dance training and has progressed so much. The winner should be Louise or Danny based on dancing, but if the US election was based on politics - a certain D Trump wouldn't have won- the voting public aren't rational as we know all too well!

Jane10 Sat 26-Nov-16 21:13:31

Too true Wobblybitssad

Wobblybits Sat 26-Nov-16 20:46:15

Azie09, sorry but not everyone can dance, sadly we can't as we are unable to walk let alone dance.
