Just found this mystery series 8 episodes on the BBC IPlayer. All set in Wales and from BBC Wales. Seen the first two episodes which I thoroughly enjoyed. Just wish the whole series was ready to watch.

I didn't see Faith as a woman who bulldozed her way through people's lives . She is a woman whose secure world collapsed in a very short time

Exactly how I saw her too Annie . Brilliantly acted.

Luckylegs I think you will have to binge watch the series TODAY. ?I don’t think the BBC let you download it unfortunately.

Sparklefizz Fri 04-May-18 16:50:55

It's been extended on iPlayer until Monday, I see.

Help! Did I miss something? Where did Mr Baldini get the money to pay off the Glynns?

Luckylegs Sat 05-May-18 11:25:45

I'm trying very hard to watch it all! I watched 1 and 2 last night and 3 this morning but I might not reach the end before Monday - busy weekend! I realise from up the thread that the husband comes back but I think someone might have to tell me what happens as I couldn't bear not to know the ending if I've not got there, if that makes sense! Please will someone tell me why and where etc and I won't read it before I've got as far as I can and its disappeared! Oh, why didn't I find it earlier?

I thought Baldini did some shady work for them collecting the drug drop - he sort of got himself tied in to working for them again.

No doubt the constant use of mobile phones was necessary to keep everything moving along at a cracking pace but it got on my nerves when there was hardly a scene where one didn't ring and interrupt the dialogue.

Doesn’t anyone else think the episodes moved along at a very slow pace? I think Eve Myles is amazing, we’ve watched her in a few things, Belonging being one also Torchwood. She’s actually married in ‘real life’ to Evan.

I hear they are repeating the series on BBC4 as it was so popular.

No I didn't find the episodes were slow and in fact I am revving up to watch it again as I missed some of the twists and turns.

Just been to Hay Festival and saw Eve Myles and (the writer) Matthew Hall talking about Keeping Faith. Eve Myles came over as a really lovely person - and very hardworking (learning Welsh and recording one series in Welsh).

How interesting SallyAnn1 I am glad she seemed as nice a person as when I heard her on Woman’s Hour. When I see they are repeating the programme I will alert everyone on this thread.

My DS appeared at Hay on Tuesday, but that isn’t relevant to anything ?

Thebeeb Fri 01-Jun-18 19:37:08

Brilliant brilliant series thoroughly enjoyed it. Need more like this.

Sallyann1 Fri 01-Jun-18 20:47:39

Nankate - who is your DS ? smile

NanKate Fri 01-Jun-18 20:56:07

I will PM you SallyAnn1 as I want to jeep my anonymity.

NanKate Fri 01-Jun-18 21:00:39

Keep not Jeep ?

I see Keeping Faith is being repeated this coming Thursday at 9.00pm on BBC1. I am going to watch it for a second time as it was so good.

I`ve deliberately not read any of this thread in case there are spoilers, as I`ve just watched episode 1 tonight. It looks interesting, so I`ll be tuning in next week for episode 2. Was part of it filmed at Llanarth? We visited there about 25 years ago, thought it was so pretty and peaceful.

Anniebach Fri 13-Jul-18 09:04:08

I know they filmed in Carmarthen, Swansea bay and Laugharne callgjrl.

Teetime Fri 13-Jul-18 09:29:30

I was really looking forward to this but oh dear- the main actress is so manic I find her performance deeply irritiating.

sodapop Fri 13-Jul-18 10:05:12

Yes I felt a bit like that Teetime hoping it will improve as it got such good reviews.

Anniebach Fri 13-Jul-18 10:17:33

If my husband had vanished I don’t think I would be calm and in control, I am sure I would be manic too.

sodapop Fri 13-Jul-18 14:48:25

But she was like that before he disappeared Annie

Greyduster Fri 13-Jul-18 15:38:20

Have to agree with Teetime. Scenery is nice, though!
