I'm starting this new thread as apparently our other one was over a year old!! shock

We'll have to do more gossiping to prevent this happening again.

Here's a link to the old one.

As a non Archers addict - all I can say is that it is very unpleasant when wou phone family or friends- and they can't drop the Archers for 1 minute.

I think the mini-flood at No1 (it was only a washing machine overflowing) was a plot device to give the Grundys longer at Grange Farm so that Joe could die there. They surely can't put the move off much longer though?

The ghost storyline is ridiculous and the least we hear of Shula becoming a vicar the better.

I suppose the birth of Lexi's bebbeee will be the next big storyline.

So many story lines seem to have been left dangling. Thought the ghost thing really stupid. We want to know about Toby, Elizabeth, Russ, Freddy etc and has Natasha maxed out on those credit cards yet? Have the Grundy’s moved?

eGJ Wed 28-Aug-19 07:22:30

Have we heard from Toby lately? That relationship with Pip seems to have simmered down too.

Merlot gran, I was wondering about Doc Locke and Elizabeth. Also, all is quiet on the Elizabeth and ? Russ? ( Lillies fella) front?

katie1 Tue 27-Aug-19 21:07:41

Has anyone else noticed Emma speaks on an 'out breath' making her sound fed up and resigned ? Have to say she was leading Will on a bit tonight, but he was a bit presumptuous.

eGJ Mon 26-Aug-19 18:57:27

Didn’t they cancel it after Natasha went away in a hissy fit and Tom found out about her credit cards?

merlotgran Mon 26-Aug-19 17:51:29

What has happened to Tom and Natasha's honeymoon in Cuba?

merlotgran Thu 22-Aug-19 19:21:13

Ooooh! That's two dressings down this week. Susan and now Pip.

I like it. grin

I'm a bit worried about those candles. We haven't had a fire since Rex's hen house and Harrison never did solve that one.

Sara65 Wed 21-Aug-19 22:15:15

Susan will love this bit of gossip if Neil is stupid enough, or drunk enough, to pass it on

Scribbles Wed 21-Aug-19 22:06:42

Not so sure, Luckygirl - Brine sounded as if he might be too much under the affluence of incohol to ... er, come up to expectations

Luckygirl Wed 21-Aug-19 20:09:08

All so improbable - Neil and Brian having a heart to heart. Still it sounds as though they all got their oats today!

merlotgran Wed 21-Aug-19 19:26:45

Yes. Neil sounded positively sleazy.

SisterAct Wed 21-Aug-19 19:22:17

What a load of rubbish tonight ! Getting very disillusioned

eGJ Tue 20-Aug-19 19:15:51

Well done Tracy! duck to water !! I can’t believe she is managing to tame Linda!

Sara65 Tue 20-Aug-19 17:43:26

Oh yes, Tracey’s a breath of fresh air

eGJ Tue 20-Aug-19 16:47:46

merlot your posts always make me smile and fall about- thank you flowers

merlotgran Tue 20-Aug-19 16:32:32

What's happened to Doc Locke?

Tracey's fast becoming my fave character. grin

eGJ Tue 20-Aug-19 16:21:14

When do you think Eddie and Clarrie will remember to go and check up on Joe to find out how he is? !!

Sara65 Mon 19-Aug-19 19:51:11

I would like to join the queue, I’m finding him a bit creepy at the moment to tell the truth!

katie1 Mon 19-Aug-19 19:46:10

I meant to say I think Tracey is a bad choice, the first person the rich guests meet ?

katie1 Mon 19-Aug-19 19:44:04

I don't think there is a GP in the village anymore Phoenix. Will is a bit of a drip, but I don't want to slap him, he's so scared his daughter will die sad. Does anyone else think Tracey is a good choice for the rich guests at Grey Gables, first impressions and all that?

phoenix Mon 19-Aug-19 19:28:40

Ok, please form an orderly queue for Wiwyum slapping!

You don't have to explain why you want to slap him, it will be assumed that it is 1 of 2 reasons, namely the whiney voice or him dragging Poppy off to A&E every time she coughs, sniffs or farts! Do they not have a G P in the village anymore?

I live in a rural community, and it's at least a 45/60 minute drive to the nearest hospital with an A&E dept!

Yes, I know Nick died of sepsis, but really, this is too much!

Scribbles Sun 18-Aug-19 17:26:33

OH and I were speculating that Whining Wiwyum might also lose his job. He worries constantly about doing anything to p* off Martin Wossname and now he's talking about taking more time off if Poppy needs him .. Doesn't the house he lives in go with his job?

Emmur could just jump out of the frying pan into the fire and might find herself living with the Grundys again but crammed in at #1 The Green with Eddie, Clarrie, Ed, Will and all the assorted children! (I assume the SWs will have written out Pore Old Joe by then)
