Seeing as we're all staying in a little lot more, we'd imagine the telly is getting a fair amount of attention. If you want to chat about whatever you're watching while it's on (or the next day) please do check our Telly forum topic and join in if there's already a conversation running. If not, why not start one? There's almost certainly someone else on here who's watching alongside you and would love the opportunity to dissect the plot/suggest whodunnit/debate actor's suitability to role/just want to say they love or hate it. grin

The RSC “black” Hamlet with Paapa Essiedu, which I saw in 2018 at the Hackney Empire right at the end of its touring run.
Powerful!

I have just watched The Banker on ITV catchup. Fantastic free film. It’s based on a true story.

I watched The Luminaries, wasn’t riveted but will give episode 2 another go.

Didn’t realise Strike was on I player, it wasn’t last time I looked. Must be getting ready for the new series, will re-watch.

Last night we watched "All the money in the world", on Ch 4.

The story of the Getty grandson kidnapping. I had not seen it before, and what a horrid man JP Getty snr, was.

On Saturday, we watched a recording of "Supercharged Otters". Great.
I do remember , some years ago, Charlie Hamilton Price, and his family, filmed otters on their land, and there was a series.
That was good too.

Tonight, it will probably be " Devon and Cornwall"

The Luminaries---it's weird grin but I understand the theme.

We have found a lovely programme on All4. It is Danish with sub titles and called Seaside Hotel. Set in the 1920s.

Broadchurch, ITV, 9pm. Missed it first time round, liking it so far.

Jane43, I think My Brilliant Friend is on Sky Atlantic.
All episodes of Season 2 are available.

Sunlover Mon 22-Jun-20 22:42:57

Just finished binge watching Game of Thrones. All 8 series!! Loved it. Very gory in places and so many characters.
Never fancied it before but as we have been at home most evenings we thought we would give it a go. What an excellent decision. Tonight I felt a bit flat as it was finished.

AuntieFlo I'm glad you mentioned about All the Money in the World. I'd recorded it but had almost decided not to bother watching it, but I saw it tonight and very gripping it was.

Thanks for this. Watched a couple of episodes in the wee small hours! It’s very nice to look at ! Lovely clothes. Ok so I’m shallow !

Thank you Grannmarie, I had an idea it might be on Sky Atlantic as I watched series one when we had Sky but we have changed to Virgin now so I will have to hope it eventually comes on to Amazon Prime.

I've been recording reruns of Man About The House. It was always my favourite sitcom. It is so nostalgic - the fashions, the hair styles and of course lovely Richard O'Sullivan. I met him once in his heyday. He was delightful smile

I was looking forward to Ambulance at 9pm, have just found out that it`s not on this week, very disappointed.

The School That Fought Racism ,on CH 4 I think ,Very interesting seeing racism through the eyes of children around 12 years old and what they think it is.The" race" where they were all asked questions that changed their position was quite an eye opener even for me who has been involved in anti racist events for a long time ,though it was asylum seekers ,not school age youngsters that I marched and campaigned for .I'm looking forward to the next episode and I will forward details to my daughter so she can watch with her children as part of their homeschooling as racism/sexism equality were on their list of subjects to tackle .

paddyanne Fri 26-Jun-20 01:00:23

Before that we watched Scotlands home of the year ,the final is next week and there are 3 that I absolutely love. The juddges on this are very much on the same wave length as me where houses are concerned and I cant fault their selection so far.

We're flicking backwards and forwards between BBC2 and
BBC4.

Not really Elbow fans though.
