Freda and the implants for Aled. Now she has kidnapped the little chap to stop the operation. She comes over as the most impossibly selfish woman and I have no sympathy for her. One storyline that has disappointed.

Wow Calendargirl you've got the storyline for weeks there!

Sarnia Thu 25-Nov-21 08:36:12

Yes Calendargirl your storylines are much more believable than some we have had recently.

Excellent story line Calendargirl I'll suggest you to Corrie as a script writer

Calendargirl Thu 25-Nov-21 15:40:30

You are all too kind blush

I wonder if there will be repercussions on Imran's one night stand with Abi? He and Toyah seem to have put this behind them and settled back down together but I am hoping to see Abi's horrified expression when her pregnancy test shows positive and she works out the date of conception.

Just tead this,

Though Roy’s future is unknown, David Neilson’s character isn’t being killed off, so there is always scope for him to return in the future.

I'd like to see Nina ask Kelly to move in and help to run the cafe they could become the next Gail and Alma ?

Namsnanny Mon 29-Nov-21 21:11:44

Did anyone notice the photo of Rita and Jenny prominently positioned on the mantle shelf behind Daisy in the Rovers?
Is Rita set to leave?

Namsnanny Mon 29-Nov-21 21:13:23

I still miss Alma and her ups and downs with Mike Baldwin!

So what's Curtis up to then? When he was getting a clean bill of health from the cardiac consultant I wondered if he had Munchausen's but that wouldn't account for him lying to Emma about his Dad turning up. Poor Emma hasn't had a lot of luck and her world is about to come crashing down. I hope Michael soon finds out what Grace is up to leaving Glory on her own. It comes to something when Bernie has to hand out parenting tips.

Calendargirl Fri 03-Dec-21 10:49:31

I missed last Friday’s and Monday’s episodes, will catch up with them, but watched Wednesday’s.

In the space of a few days, the Christmas Market has been arranged, and the wedding dress will be rustled up at a moment’s notice it seems.

Who needs Alexander McQueen or Sarah Burton when you have Sean from Underworld? Meghan could have saved a fortune!

Calendargirl Fri 03-Dec-21 10:52:29

Regarding Curtis. If he was a hole in the heart baby, I suppose it has preyed on his mind all his life. Maybe he received a lot of fuss and attention when he was small, and when it was acknowledged that he was fit and healthy, he couldn’t accept it, leading him to lie about his father’s death?

This is Corrie World, after all.

Doodledog Fri 03-Dec-21 15:18:06

Has he lied about everything? He is clearly not a medical student, his father isn't dead, he is not ill - what is real about him?

It seems like his whole life is a fantasy, and poor Emma (who is not the brightest star in the Christmas sky) has fallen for it all. Given Corrie's past form, in a month or two he will have a house, a secure job with an undisclosed but apparently unrealistic salary, a wife and maybe a baby on the way, and everyone will have forgotten his chequered past and welcomed him into the fold.

The burning (?) question is how we get from here to there without losing interest.

Namsnanny Fri 03-Dec-21 19:59:31

Not another fire!

Namsnanny Fri 03-Dec-21 20:02:23

The burning (?) question is how we get from her to there without losing interest?
Clairvoyant or what Doodledog grin

Doodledog Fri 03-Dec-21 20:03:47

grin

Namsnanny Fri 03-Dec-21 20:04:36

The Bailey story line about Grace and Glory is hotting up, in time for Christmas!

JaneJudge Fri 03-Dec-21 20:06:42

that poor homeless chap is going to either get killed or get the bloody blame

Calendargirl Fri 03-Dec-21 20:24:21

If Phil has just moved in with Fiz temporarily while the bathroom is being re-vamped, did he really need to bring the house plant with him?

And if Mummy is rolling in money, as appearances suggest, couldn’t he have stayed at her hotel instead of crowding in at Fiz’s?

I know which I would have preferred.

All very strange.

confused

BlueBelle Fri 03-Dec-21 20:25:47

Get the bloody blame I reckon can’t have another death surely
What is Curtis up to ?

Namsnanny Fri 03-Dec-21 20:37:12

Oh gawd! They've resurrected Terry Duckworth in female form.

Calendargirl Fri 03-Dec-21 20:44:49

Oh, I thought ‘Mimi’ was modelled on an English version of Dame Edna!

Why do we keep watching such tripe?

?

BlueBelle Fri 03-Dec-21 20:47:02

Yes why oh why do I watch it Another disaster can the street take any more it’s getting really silly the one hospital bed will take Stu and the one nurseAggie will be looking after him ?

Calendargirl Fri 03-Dec-21 21:05:29

No BlueBelle Nurse Aggie and gormless Ed are too busy wondering how to magic £20k out of thin air to pay off the blackmailing girlfriend, whilst their equally hapless son is dashing off buying yogurts and nappies for baby Glory.

Why don’t they tell him what she’s up to, and try and get proper custody? Surely Bernie can be a witness about her leaving the baby alone? Why are they so frightened of her? If she ran off with the baby, she wouldn’t get far, no money, car, home.

BlueBelle Fri 03-Dec-21 21:16:01

What’s happened to Daniel s baby I reckon it ll come down from the bedroom in school uniform soon
