Just started watching this on Channel 5. It's rather watchable but not very believable.

However I'm so involved with it we're on the third episode, the whole series is streaming on My 5.

I never watch a series - but I watch one-offs, mainly documentaries. Right now I’m watching The Push on Channel5

I nodded off a bit in the last episode, but got the gist.

It was all ‘Happy Families’ at the end, but could they really trust Sandrine?

After all, she had drugged granddad George, drugged and nearly drowned Zoe, whacked Amber over the head with a bat and dragged her off to the woods…,,

But hey ho, happy endings!

I also watched this but missed the ending as was nodding off. Please can someone fill me in on how it ended? Got to the part where the post mortem showed no water in lungs, and strangulation marks on her neck, so presumably the husband killed his poor wife and pushed her over the side of the ship? Hope he got a life sentence.

Agreed Calendargirl as well as all the criminal activity she was supposedly involved in in France.

The constant coming and going of the cars in and out of the gravel driveway , yet it always looked immaculate . What a beautiful house and grounds though . It was so silly it was entertaining. Why the miles and miles of cycling with the body in the box she could have dumped her half a mile away. I guess the real baddie was the husband because it was all lovey dovey at the end .

@Rula I watched all of it today. As everyone said it was completely far fetched and unbelievable.
If it hadn’t been for Kenny Doughty being in it I would have given up. I’ve liked him since he was in a series shown here in Wales called Stella. Then of course in Vera.
I found it amusing how Sandrine knew the outcome of her many schemes it must have taken meticulous planning.
I laughed out loud at the scene where she was pedalling like mad with those two feet sticking out of the basket. As others have said reminiscent of ET.
I enjoyed it though despite myself even if it wasn’t for the reasons the writers intended.

Excellent, HiPpyChick57!

As someone mentioned, it was so bad it was good!

David Suchet is an excellent actor! By the way, I am confused, the last scene was six months' later so I assumed Zoe would be either heavily pregnant or with a little one. Neither happened, did I miss something? Quite possible as it all became rather frantic at the end!

I wondered that, Waterloosunset.
Zoe was wearing a smock which possibly suggested a bump?
Or the baby was asleep in its cot - but would you leave a tiny one alone given the awful past experiences?

Re Zoe’s baby.

It was mentioned in the birthday party scenes that a) she was either 8 months pregnant or b) baby was due in four weeks, something like that.

Fortunately had a ready made au pair to hand!

Gosh well spotted Calendargirl!

I'm sure all will be revealed, or not, in Series 2
