Bags, lots of soothingness here. smile
I've had a happy and achy day in the garden, so ready to just chill in the corner.
I've been offered an exercise bike freebie from my daughter's next door neighbour who's having a clear out. I'm trying to work out how to attach a book rest to it so I can cycle and read.

Anagram Sat 12-May-12 20:33:22

Watch it, Bags! Mixing your drinks is not a good idea....hmm

Butternut Sat 12-May-12 20:40:56

Here for a little sit down after a very busy day. I'm having both a real and a virtual wine - I deserve it and as I've watched every morsel that I've eaten I can even quaff it with a clear conscience. Aaaah!

pompa Sat 12-May-12 21:33:36

Good to see the quiet corner back again, that is just what I need.

glassortwo Sat 12-May-12 21:34:51

glammanana Sat 12-May-12 22:27:42

I've made a nice mug of hot chocolate there is some left in pan on the little camping stove if you fancy some,I'm going to snuggle down on this comphy bean bag and relax a while,I've left a fresh tin of cheese straws on the side if anyone fancies some nibbles, but tell glass they are low calorie ones as she is lurking over the other side of the shed with her bucket of wine lol

pompa Sat 12-May-12 23:29:44

Sounds good, just what I would hoped the QC, would come up with. brew

As a few of you know, my oldest and closest friend is seriously ill atm (this has devastated me), we are heading to London to visit him in hospital tomorrow, we just pray he has improved and knows who we are, he was very poorly yesterday. His wife seems to be coping amazingly well. He just had a slight cough before we went on holiday, returned to find him admitted to hospital for surgery to drain and re-attach a detached lung. It will be another 2 weeks before they get the biopsy results to determine the cause.

The QC is exactly what I need atm.

Butternut Sun 13-May-12 07:45:37

Hope today goes well for you, pompa.

soop Sun 13-May-12 10:40:53

Make room for a little'un...teenage sleepover left me wrecked and drunk too much wine to help me sleep...the sun is over the yardarm so will have a hair of the dog [but not the scorched end please]..if there is enough room will do some yoga as I am very good at it virtually and as we speak my legs are twisted round my neck and I am typing with my toes,as my OH says it looks like I am talking out of my a**e but as that is the norm I dont expect you to be overwhelmed with my contortions...

Pompa I am hoping that your friend is a little better today, and that your worrying is eased flowers

jeni Sun 13-May-12 13:22:29

nelliedeane Sun 13-May-12 13:30:59

Anagram Sun 13-May-12 13:39:15

Hmmm....do I sniff a hint of arson in the air today? nellie, I'm still not entirely convinced we convicted (in her absence) the right person for the singeing of Duncan....hmm

harrigran Sun 13-May-12 13:48:30

Sending best wishes pompa and hoping your friend is improving.

nelliedeane Sun 13-May-12 15:40:54

Have fun with the virtual yoga. Some evidence that it does indeed benefit the body...
I went for a nice walk today (not coughing as much). Right round the outside and back through our local bluebell wood. Coming down the hill on the far side of the wood I spotted a little brown something, just outside the margin. It was a little red fox, checking out the sunshine.
